we had a great stay at the cottage, it was spotlessly clean and in a great location for what we wanted to do. The back garden was great for kids and to sit in when weather permitted! Neighbours also very friendly! In short it was a great place to stay.

Absolutely lovely little place to stay. You go in and first thing you see is welcoming indoor sheltered garden with seats and log burner. It looks like a shed on the outside but you go into the property and it looks like a modern amazing little home inside. Bright and welcoming would happily stay again. Hosts are great and responsive. Even put milk in the fridge before arrival.
Clear water is seen bubbling in a hot tub, with water jets creating gentle streams. The surface of the water reflects soft hues, and the surrounding area is neutral in tone, contributing to a tranquil atmosphere.

Penycae Oak Lodge with HOT TUB

LewisRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Oak Lodge run by the team at Penycae inn is a lovely, Warm, inviting place to call home for a few days. location is perfect as you are within short driving distance of a massive amount of different walks and activities but is still nestled in a pretty/quiet area. The best thing is the proximity to the inn - tasty food available at the drop of a hat and really takes the guesswork out of lunch/dinner. they also do a killer full Welsh breakfast! All the staff at the inn are incredibly friendly and helpful too. Only complaint is the birds in the on site mini zoo are really obnoxious when trying to sleep if you're in the back bedroom! we'd happily return, it's been a lovely stay
A panoramic view captures lush green valleys and rolling hills of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The landscape features scattered farms and a winding road, with patches of trees dotting the scenery and a small pond reflecting the surrounding greenery.

I can't even put in to words how perfect the location is, the view and the place itself! it was absolutely gorgeous down to all the little details. the outdoor cinema was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the alpacas and sheep. it's nestled away, far away from everything else and with a beautiful view. it's just what we needed!
