The location is amazing, 50 m from the slopes, ski tracks and restaurants and 75 m from the grocery store and Finland`s oldest national park. You do not need a car staying here. Our holiday home is situated in Kemijärvi 85 kms/ 53 miles north-east from Rovaniemi. Nice peaceful 71 m2 apartment close to the nature. You can rest hiking, biking, skiing, swimming, picking berries or mushrooms - whatever you like. Kemijärvi is a town of 6000 inhabitants in the middle of two lakes just above the polar circle. Sauna. There are good trails for crosscountry skiing almost from our front door. The distances to the downhill skiing areas: 45 kms to Suomu and 53 kms to Pyhä.

House has been separated into two apartments for our guests. This A apartment has room for 5 person. One king size bed with window view and second twin bed with one bed upper as bunk bed. The house is being fully renovated and reopened for season 2023.

Accommodation in a quiet setting near the banks of the Kitinen River 2 km from the center of Sodankylä. From the property, access to the beach and from the pier to swim. Beach sauna rental also possible, if the booking situation allows. We also rent snowshoes, kayaks, sup boards and canoe. There is also a Kota in our area, where you can have a hot meal and drink by the fire.
