Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Pecos River

This was our second time staying at Jen’s! We love this location and we felt right at home. All of us said that it was the best nights sleep out of a 6 days road trip. We will be returning to our one and only destination in Roswell!

Michelle is a wonderful host. I read many of her reviews, and every review I read is 100% accurate. Michelle’s home is welcoming, very spacious and FUN. Michelle even took the time to create a binder with useful information such as local restaurant’s, cafe’s, history facts, etc. I’m looking forward to going back soon for our next reservation. Thank you, Michelle! I hope you are doing your happy dance!

Terry's home is the most beautiful and relaxing bnb we have ever had the honor to stay in! Everything was absolutely perfect and well thought out, it is very apparent a chef stocked the kitchen with every imaginable amenity you would need! The creativity and the artistic touch to the home is absolutely breathtaking, inside and out. The beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable and we really enjoyed opening the screened-in door in the bedroom at night to enjoy the dessert breezes and sounds, he even supplies earplugs by the beds for those of who don't love and appreciate the occasional train that passes by(we loved the sound!). Not only is the history and the architecture of the home inspiring, the endless book selection kept me entertained for hours! We enjoyed watching a dust storm and then a hail storm from the upstairs bedroom windows and then later playing cards and dominos at the huge wooden dining room table. The lighting throughout the entire home is awesome!

Great little southern home. Nested in a quiet area but quickly accessible to town restaurants and stores. Caverns were about 35 minutes away which is why we stayed. Worked well for my family.

Wendy’s place was close to our family making it very convenient! Lake view was great! We will stay here next year!

Lived up to its reputation. Extremely comfortable and homey. Well stocked kitchen. Garage came in handy due to some hail. Highly recommended for those visiting National parks.

Barbara and Tim’s place is a great spot for families — it’s spacious, clean, and has a lovely yard that’s perfect for four-legged friends. Everything in the home was thoughtfully labeled, which made settling in easy. It’s clear the hosts take great pride in maintaining the property, and we really appreciated the attention to detail. That said, some of the house rules, especially around the white towels and pet policies, felt a bit strict. While totally understandable, a few of the reminders (like black light checks and potential charges) made it a little harder to fully relax. Overall, we had a nice stay — just something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a more laid-back vibe.

The casita was attractive, comfortable, and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The antiques in the bedrooms are awesome, and the sunroom was a delightful place to eat and hang out. The location has easy freeway access, but feels like you're way out in the country. Brenda was friendly and responsive.

I really enjoyed staying here. This was a great base camp in between events for Agave Marfa. I don’t think I’d change anything about it! The AC worked great. I mostly went out to eat but the full size kitchen would have been perfectly sufficient. The beds were comfortable. The cowboy pool is a nice break in the TX sun. The ideal group would be 3-4 people but 5 is possible.

Host was amazing! Responds quickly! My daughter had the best birthday! Pool is very nice!

Wonderful place to stay in Marfa. The location was great and the accommodations were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well outfitted.

The cabin was a great place to stay. Michele and Jim we're very helpful and quick to answer all our questions. They we're able to accommodate to our needs with short notice. Best of all, the views from the deck are great!

We stayed here for a week, and would have stayed longer if it was available. The space is small but very thoughtfully laid out with more amenities than some Airbnbs we’ve stayed at that were three times the size. I’m almost six feet tall and was worried the low ceilings in the loft would bother me, but they really weren’t a problem. The skylight at the top of the staircase is one of those thoughtful elements, making it easy to transition from the high ceilings downstairs to the low upstairs. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating, with lots of local knowledge they’re happy to share. And the location is great, in a quiet neighborhood close to the best spots in Santa Fe.

We loved our stay. The back patio is very relaxing and we enjoyed the pool. It’s always nice to have a garage to park in as well. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable as well. We will definitely be back.

Great place to stay in Marfa! Close to everything and walkable. The place was beautiful and decorated great- very comfortable space! Only thing to note is the WiFi is extremely spotty, which the hosts mentions, but if you are looking for good WiFi this might not be the place for you. That being said, its great to disconnect for a bit!

This place felt like home. It was cozy and peaceful. My favorite part about staying here was the location. It was on the river and walking distance to many great restaurants and shops.

Perfect place for a little west Texas getaway. Great view of Sleeping Lion mountain. It was the best little yard for our dog and also had dog waste baggies and trash outside!

It was as described. Bed was VERY comfortable!!! If you want more than 2 pillow make sure to bring some. We did have a spider in the bed. Not sure if they do any kind of pest control inside the cabin but I also realize that it’s in the country and on a farm. Check-in was super easy! I was bummed that the goats were put away in an area which you weren’t able to get them close to them. I did appreciate the water bottles in the refrigerator. Fine for a quick stay.

Super clean, super easy. Closer than any hotel or motel off the I40. The area is not at all sketchy. I had no problem leaving my belongings in the car. Thank you for accommodating me.

Such a magical place! It was our first visit to the area and we couldn’t be more thrilled. We will definitely be returning to this Airbnb!

If you find yourself in Van Horn, TX, you must stay here. Whole theme built around cowboys and an old crystal rock shop! The outside is heavily decorated with unusual found vintage items.The Airbnb inside is very clean, cleverly designed, and very comfy. You will never meet anyone as nice as our host, James, who shared with us many items of interest from his collections. Great restaurant up the street.

Such a beautiful/cute place! Everything was super clean and neat, the space felt so welcoming. The location for me was great, really close to everything I needed.

Within the first five minutes at the Domes we knew we were going to love the place, and we did! We are already planning a return trip with some friends. If you like nature and being away from crowds, this is the place to be. The hikes are great, birdwatching is fantastic, and the stargazing is unparalleled. Turning off all the lights, I was able to get my first good view of the Milky Way! Getting to the place is a little adventurous, and it's kinda remote, so you'll want to bring essentials. Having said that, the remoteness and adventure are a huge plus in my book. Added bonus: there is a very friendly (and dusty) cat that likes to hang out with you. If you've never gazed at the stars with a cat in your lap, you're missing out.
