Cabin vacation rentals in Pecos River

We absolutely loved staying in this cabin. The location is easy to get to, yet secluded enough to feel like it’s in the trees. The patio is where we spent the majority of our time grilling and just hanging out. The kitchen is beautiful and has all the essentials for cooking a great meal, or just having a morning coffee. The bedroom downstairs was a pleasant surprise for our inlaws, it was private and it allowed them to have time away from the “main” part of the house. This cabin is cozy and exactly what we were looking for. The communication from the host was phenomenal. When we come back to Ruidoso, we will definitely be staying here. Thank you SO much.

This listing needs better photos or a video because they don’t do justice to how spacious and amazing this place really is. It’s super clean, and the grill is connected to a gas line, which made grilling easy without having to worry about propane. I brought my six kids and we had an absolute blast. The game room was a hit, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The jacuzzi, 2.5 bathrooms, and two kitchen tables make it perfect for large groups. I’ll definitely be coming back!

It was the perfect setting with a view of the wild horses and deer throughout the day, close to the main roads and attractions around town. Very clean, felt cozy and the hot tub was private with great sky views !!

The host was very responsive and helpful. Great location. The home is in walking distance of Downtown Ruidoso. The hot tub was so nice and relaxing. It was a very nice stay.

This was our second year staying here and we were very happy and we will do it again next year that doesn’t say enough I don’t know what else to say

Eric was exceptional at keeping in touch with us! He had some great recommendations and we felt right at home. It was private feeling though other cabins were around and nature surrounded us. We were auditioned to see deer and elk right in the neighborhood that showed no signs of alarm as we watched them! We were on the go a lot so didn’t get to enjoy ALL the amenities provided, but had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to escape for a few days or longer! We will use again and bring family!

Susan is a great host. She provided all the info needed for our stay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. When we needed something (only one request as the cabin is well stocked!), she responded promptly to our request. We will be staying at J’s Cottage anytime we are in Cloudcroft.

This is our second stay here and will not be our last! Everything is so peaceful and lovely. The cabin is well equipped, immaculately clean and spacious. The pond is so relaxing to just sit out and enjoy the view. I loved hearing the animals while we sat on the screened in porch. The best part is how kind and friendly that Andrea is. She truly makes you feel like a welcome and wanted guest. The location and nearness to the park is wonderful-you have this beautiful area basically in your back yard! Andrea was so helpful with where to try for restaurants and left us with food for breakfast. 5 stars all around. Thank you for having us!

The beautiful surroundings and peaceful feel of this quaint spot was just what we needed to end our 10 day road trip across the southwest. The patio is where we spent a majority of our time taking in the scenery. The casita is a cozy little space with lots of character that had all we needed to make our stay comfortable. Lisa is a great host and was always immediately available to answer questions or give recommendations. Her kind and helpful nature was apparent in our conversations and we hope to stay again in the future.

This is a very sweet, modern, cabin/home for two! Comfy bed, great shower, lovely space to be in! We also enjoyed both the quiet and the views from the deck, while still being a close drive to town.

This home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal—close to town, yet the view from the balcony made it feel peaceful and remote. It was the perfect size for our family (3 couples). One feature we really appreciated was the no-step entry, which made loading and unloading a breeze. Overall, a well-thought-out space that made our stay easy and enjoyable."
