Vacation rentals with a patio in Paignton Beach

Lovely apartment, spotlessly clean, high quality facilities and very comfortable. Amazing views from the well kept garden area. Loved the sound of the seagulls and the soft chimes from the clocktower on All Saints Church. No traffic noice and very peaceful. Short walk to town with many pubs, restaurants and cafes to choose from. Parked our car and went everywhere on foot, local buses and ferries. Communication with the friendly host was perfect with clear instructions for arrival along with details on use of the property facilities. Additional information on local points of interest, restaurants etc very much appreciated. Lovely small refreshment welcoming pack on arrival also very much appreciated. If I ran an Airbnb I would copy exactly what Emily provided, absolutely faultless.

Location, Location, Location! Spectacular views from property of the Estuary. Excellent and secure parking. We really appreciated the welcome tray items.

What an amazing stay, Dominic was really helpful and patient with all my pre arrival questions and during our stay. Response time was really good. Dominics place was really clean and clear of clutter exactly what we needed for our trip. We spent the weekend kayaking, visiting lots of beaches and the Paignton airshow. so central for attractions. Needed a large space to come back to at the end of the day and unload beach gear before setting off again, the living area was perfect. Really recommend Dominics place

Our stay at Pauline’s stunning apartment in Salcombe was unforgettable. The interior design is beautiful, with top-of-the-line appliances and every comfort thoughtfully provided. We arrived to find homemade cakes, breakfast essentials, and fresh drinks in the fridge—a lovely welcome. The balcony offers incredible views, perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. Pauline was a fantastic host, giving us great recommendations for food and paddle boarding. We highly recommend this place and are already planning our return this summer!

Excellent stay that we all really enjoyed! Everything was made so easy by the host and the place was so well located, with easy access to multiple beaches and other attractions. The flat had so many thoughtful items for both my baby and dog (toys, blankets, teddies, bath toys etc), we were so impressed and it made the whole trip such a pleasure! The outdoor area was perfect to enjoy the weather and play some games and the extra items that we were able to borrow for the beach (beach blanket and pop up windshield tent) were excellent!! Would 100% stay again and explore more of the gorgeous surrounding areas.

Beautiful place and perfect location. Would be tricky for anyone with mobility issues due to number of steps, but it certainly gave our legs a work out.

Really lovely apartment, it’s immaculate and the styling is gorgeous. A nice touch with the drinks and snacks plus books to read. I will say it is HOT upstairs during the day so peak summer might be a struggle here, but the bedrooms downstairs stayed nice and cool and we weren’t there during the day too much anyway. He did also give us tips on how to keep it as cool as possible and a fan was provided. Would stay again!

Had a great few days in Brixham at Caroline’s place and it was lovely and clean with all amenities and just as described. Plenty of crockery cooking equipment and items required to cook a few meals . We were lucky enough to park right outside the property for the few days we were there and that was a bonus . House was very warm and we never used the heating or open fire , we all slept very well on the beds and they were very comfortable. The shower was Excellent and my wife wanted to take it home 🤣. Caroline also offered us an early check in and we gratefully accepted. Would highly recommend

The pictures don't do justice to the property. Is better than it looks. Spacious rooms, confy beds , cosy furniture, friendly host ...all reviews are spot-on . Is not possible to give more than 5 stars ✨️. There is remote controlled canopy which we used it (was warm but raining for 30 min )and enjoyed the whole afternoon without issues and I am underlining that because U can see it in the picture but there is a table with umbrella and won't pay attention to the rest(when got there found upgraded table ,bigger, square with gravity chairs) No words...we felt straight away like home. Thank you Stephen.

We had the most amazing week with our 4 boys at The Old Guard in May. We have been renting various properties in Hope Cove for many years. Wendy's property is now our absolute favourite!! Not only did we have fabulous weather but the location is just perfect for getting out on the kayaks etc The warm outdoor shower is brilliant for when you get back! The balcony is very large and a great space! The views from the balcony are spectacular and the sunsets incredible. The kitchen had everything you need. They utility area with washer and dryer is very useful staying with a family. The property was really well designed & clean and comfortable to stay in. Wendy had said the parking would be tight, but we got our 2 vehicles in no problem just a bit of time to go back and forth and one is a long wheelbase Mercedes Vito! We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again! Thank you Wendy for all your messages and prompt replies when we had any questions.

Luke is a fabulous host! Not only is the cottage idyllic, peaceful and charming, but Luke left us some goodies for our arrival. These included a bottle of fizz, some delicious bread and eggs from the chickens he keeps on his small holding. There was loads of good recommendations for walks and activities within the cottage and Luke trod a wonderful balance between giving us our space and being there to offer advice and recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the countryside!

We stayed in Candy's farmhouse annex for a long weekend with my parents-in-law, whilst down for a family event in Totnes. The location was perfect - such a short drive to Totnes, whilst being surrounded by wonderful countryside! We were given a great tour on arrival, of the annex and the huge garden, by Candy's husband Phil. The children felt immediately at home, and very much enjoyed exploring the garden and bouncing on the trampoline. The annex itself was spacious and perfectly comfortable, with plenty of hot water for great showers and heating so that we never felt cold, even when the evenings were chilly. We had a wonderful time playing boardgames in the evenings, and Phil was kind enough to bring over some extra games and comic books for the children, which they greatly appreciated. We had a really lovely time and would definitely stay there again in future! Thank you, Candy and Phil, for making us feel so welcome in your lovely home!

Great place with beautiful views. It has a peaceful, lovely feel to the house. The beds were comfy and the kitchen well equipped with everything we needed to cook. The cottage is in a little commune with some other cottages and there’s a great vibe to the whole place. Katie was super helpful and responsive whenever we needed anything. Perfect place for a rural Devon getaway.

We had a great couple of nights here while visiting South Devon. The cottage was imaculately clean and everything has been so well thought out. Only 20 minutes away from Salcombe and other local sights, this was the perfect home to come back to after a day of exploring. The shower & bath were great, and the welcome cake was such a nice touch! Would certainly revisit.

Lovely apartment, clean and tidy, close to town, though several steps to go down if you don’t go by road, Moira was always quick to respond.

Had a booking cancelled at short notice and had to find an alternative sharpish.. found this one and the host was back to us straight away and remained in regular contact. Directions and getting in were easy and we even got notification that the accommodation was ready early. Very clean and comfortable inside - nice and cozy Great job by the host.

Pete and Sue were absolutely fantastic hosts, taking the time out to speak with my and my partner and recommending places nearby. The annex was absolutely beautiful, clean and neutrally decorated making it the perfect place to unwind and relax with the added bonus of the balcony which we thoroughly enjoyed enjoying the sun on. The scones, cream and jam was a really nice touch along with the croissants at breakfast although we totally forgot to bring them. That’s fine, just means we’ll have to visit again soon! Thank you both so much for your fantastic hospitality during our stay - we didn’t want to leave! See you soon. Jay and Vic.

David was an amazing host. we have stayed in a fair few Air B&B and David has been by far the best host. We did not stay in the Air B&B it was my father in law for our wedding. My father in law has health conditions and when I explained this to David he was really empathetic and and understanding. David regularly messaged me asking if my father in law needed anything, David really went above and beyond. David really made my father in law feel comfortable and welcome. I cannot recommend David's properties enough and we will be telling all our friends and family about him and his properties for when they come and stay in the South West. Thank you David for really taking any stresses we had away and making my father in laws stay really special.

Fabulous penthouse, beautifully decked out with everything you could wish for!! The views are superb and it was lovely to drink them all in from the balconies or inside. Our friend is not too clever on his feet so it was perfect to drive into the garage & get the lift. It all worked extremely well. Thank you Kelly for allowing us to stay in your amazing penthouse, we loved it!

Council car park literally a few minutes walk away (recently reopened) which was perfect.

This apartment was a great find for us, and having its own parking made our stay very straightforward being so close to the harbour. Everything was super clean and well appointed, and cared for. I would certainly recommend this as an example of what is best about Airbnb.

The apartment is lovely with beautiful views at all times and in all weather conditions. The information provided is very helpful. The location is perfect to explore or just chill. People are very friendly.
