“Sam’s place is a lovely, comfortable, clean and stylish double room with private entrance, private bathroom and private parking in the idyllic location of a small village close to beautiful Shrewsbury. It’s ideal for anybody visiting friends or family or holidaying in the area who don’t need a kitchen/living space but would like the privacy of their own entrance. The place was wonderful for our short two-night stay over New Year’s Eve. We drove to North Wales for hiking and visited friends for NYE in Shrewsbury. The location was perfect. We appreciated the Christmas decorations, generous tea & coffee supplies, cosy central heating, comfortable bed and quiet, private setting via the back courtyard of Sam’s cottage. Sam’s directions and communications were also clear, accurate and timely! Highly recommended.”

“I really enjoyed my stay here. Chris and Veronica were so wonderful and I felt at home right away. It was great to return home after work and be welcomed with friendly conversation and a homely atmosphere. I am due to return to Oswestry again and I will be booking with Chris again. Perfect hosts including the little doggo Milo”
A private, simply furnished cabin at the bottom of our garden within the World Heritage Site. The cabin has two single beds. There is a shower room and toilet ten steps from the cabin . We are 100 metres from a great pub which serves real ales and excellent food. The space is very private with access to a small garden. We are a 5 minute walk from Thomas Telfords famous aqueduct. Offas Dyke path is at the bottom of our drive. We are close to Trevor Barns and Tyn Dwr Hall wedding venues.
“The cabin is a real gem, set in idyllic surroundings, great as a base for walking. Sian is one of the best hosts we have encountered. She is so friendly, providing lots of good advice and the tea and cake at the end of a long walk were most welcome. A place to return to again and again.”
