All in all, a successful vacation. The cottage is in a wonderful location by the lake, where your own peace is guaranteed. I can highly recommend the place and Frederici as a host 😊

Our group of seven spent four nights at Miia's cottage on the shores of Linnansaari National Park. We had an excellent time! The main cottage is on the small side for seven, the three kids were going to sleep in a loft space but with the noise challenges of lofts we elected to have them sleep in the sauna cottage, which has a beautiful sleeping space. We took full advantage of the ping pong table, darts, hot tub and sauna(s). We also rowed over to nearby islands several times (tons of mushrooms growing over there!). There were no other people nearby, really, so it felt very private. The back deck is perfect for lounging and eating meals when the weather is good. Miia helped us find a local fishing guide and gave us other helpful recommendations. We popped south to Savonlinna one day to walk the town and have a meal. All in all, we highly recommend a stay at Miia's!

There were wonderful days in Ellena's Mökki right on the lake. We felt comfortable right away and enjoyed the time extensively. Sometimes the weather did not show its best side, which was immediately made up for by the cozy atmosphere inside when the flames were blazing in the oven. Ellena is a wonderful host and provides everything as a matter of course. In addition to her good taste for the interior, she is also very well organized and before arrival you receive informative, useful instructions. We did not like to leave this place, which was so relaxing for us, and we hope to travel there again.
