Solar panels provide the power you need. Water is collected in a well. Remember to bring your own linens and towel. The shower is connected with an electric pump. You have to heat water ahead of time to shower hot. Ring the cabin warm can be turned on in advance in the winter.

Can’t recommend this house enough! The view is beautiful, it was so fairly priced, and Mette was helpful with everything. We only got to stay for one night, but if you’re looking to stay in the area, this is the perfect choice!

We stayed three days with our dog in the accommodation and felt very comfortable. The location was great, the view great and it was pleasantly quiet – perfect for relaxing. The place itself was clean, cozy, and well appointed. Hikes were not far away and ideally accessible, which made the stay with a dog particularly pleasant. We would come back anytime!

We rented the apartment from Lise in connection with the Sommarland cup on June 25. Lise responds quickly to messages and the apartment is centrally located in relation to shops. Clean and nice, lovely bed linen and towels, clean and new pillows and duvets. We would gladly rent the apartment again if we return to Bø!

We stayed at Petter’s place for a family trip with 4 adults and a baby. It was a lovely and peaceful spot with some woodland walks nearby. It’s also only 15 minute drive to the coastal town of Holmestrand. They have a pig and two dogs and the farm adjacent has several horses. There is a lodger living downstairs who kept to herself. The house was clean and tidy and nicely decorated, as per the photos. We didn’t meet Petter but he had good communication and was flexible in allowing us to check out slightly later. Many thanks!

We spent 3 nights in Mette's house. The cottage is super cozy with great views of the Telemark Canal. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place. No TV or WiFi. However, we did not miss that. Mette was super nice and was always available. We would definitely stay there again.

Awesome apartment right next to the river. Very responsive and helpful host. Stayed for a month and very quickly felt at home. Kitchen is perfect if you want to cook and the outside terrace area is beautiful. Pictures match the experience. Practical walking distance to Skien centre, close to grocery store, and bus stop to get around.

Charlotte's apartment is beautiful🤩. We were there mainly to go to Gaustatoppen, and it was a very nice distance to it. The best thing was that we could bring the dog. She loved the view on the balcony ☺️ Charlotte was also very helpful with questions we had in advance. I recommend a stay in this apartment to everyone 🙂

Rented this nice apartment both in Easter 2023 and Easter 2025. Both times we were very pleased. Andreas responds quickly to all inquiries. All the little things you need for the kitchen or laundry are in place. Good selection of games for all ages. Highly recommended, and will be happy to come back here.
