The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Outboard motor 1-3 days NOK 400,-

The cabin is located right on a lake with swimming and fishing opportunities. You have panoramic views of the water and Gaustatoppen from the living room. The cabin is only 8 km from Bø Sommerland and 20 km from Lifjell Winterland. Very 5 km from the cabin you will find Grønkjær ski resort with great cross country skiing trails. The location in the middle between Bø and Notodden provides opportunities for trade and restaurants In the summertime it is possible to rent the canoe ( on sharing with my second cabin in the area) for NOK 350,- a day.

The living room is surrounded by a beautiful flower meadow and in the summer there are sheep grazing. Here you can start the day with a small bath, the children can run freely and it is arranged for late evenings around the fire pit. Outside you have a large dining table and barbecue available, not to mention your own sauna in the pig house!

Small cabin on island

"Kjempehytta" is an Idyllic small cabin located on a beautiful island in Lake Toke in Bamble, Telemark. A perfect place to see the the starry night sky, and enjoy nature. In summer you can go swimming an fishing in the lake. To get to the island you need to padle a canoe. The canoe and two lifejackets are included in the rent. Cabin in the middle of all that Telemark has to offer. The cabin is centrally located on Jønnbu (Lifjell), but at the same time for itself by a small water.
