Vacation rentals with lake access in Norwegian Sea

Stein-Ove and Marita are the best possible hosts, as they do their ultimate best to make sure that their guests have a phenomenal experience, in their fabulous house, in the unique environment of Lofoten. What stands out the most, from my view, is that the guests get the real experience of real life in such remote area of the world. This was my and my wife's intention, totally fulfilled beyond expectations, and we will never forget what we saw and how we felt. The house is situated in a magnificent location, between splendid mountains and coastline, and still easily accessible via a road where there is very little traffic, which ensure total peace. We felt what it means to have a family life in Lofoten, basically the experience cannot be more authentic, truly. Needless to say, the house was spotlessly clean and had all facilities to feel at home, e.g. we could use the kitchen to have a peaceful dinner overlooking the ocean. In brief, if you want the real experience, do book this house!

Dear Tina, We loved „Solli“, your arctic paradise at the sea. So much space and light because of the glassfront towards the fjord. Spectacular view and best private Sauna we ever saw. Everything around the house was so easy, thanks also to the perfect information about everything there was to know you and René provided beforehand and your quick responses whenever we had a question. Even though the house is not „infant safe“ we managed pretty good travelling with a 17 month old boy, since there were no stairs inside going down and the upward ones we could block and since it was summer season no need to use the fireplace. Plenty of room to play in the living room. The kitchen was equipped perfetly. Even a bedroom with the greatest view. We stayed with 3 (and a half😉) generations and everyone loved it. Beautiful place with great lake view. The host is very accommodating and gives a lot of information about the accommodation and activities.

Hans and Emily's house is a real gem! Everything has been thought of, there is everything you need and more. The rooms are beautiful and the house has a special charm. A travel cot and high chair were provided for our daughter, there are games for children and adults - so even in bad weather there is no room for boredom. Charging the electric car also worked perfectly (for a more than fair fee). The communication with Hans during the stay was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a really great place to stay with so many options that we hope to try out on our next visit (canoeing, BBQ, swimming etc). Many thanks to Emily and Hans and all the best!

Jonathan’s rental house in Fjordgård was simply wonderful. Right on the water in a small town in Senja. Hiking trails to Hesten mountain and other locations are literally right outside the door! A floating sauna, which can be rented by the hour is a few doors down. The house is comfortably furnished with modern and extremely comfortable design. Four bedrooms upstairs were just right for our party of six. Would definitely stay again.

Wow! What an amazing place! It is like staying at a friends home - super comfortable, homey, and relaxing. The "sun room" was enchanting and we sat there for fours enjoying the different moods of the fjord. The location was beyond anything I can describe - it was so quiet! Lindy was very responsive and quick. There was nothing that could not have asked for!

I've stayed at Anna's place many times now and there's a reason I keep coming back. Anna is a terric host, kind friendly and always helpful. The apratment is neat, cleean, tidy and quiet with everything you need and within close walking distance to the city, and right beside several handy bus stops. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Tromso, this one is a personal favourite.

Very pleasant and warm communication. Apartment is at the end of a residential area beautifully in the countryside and you can start hiking directly from the apartment. Even had the rare luck to see moose that came into the settlement. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. And the living room is so cozy that you can also spend a real "bad weather" day at home. For many excursions from a place to stay, however, I find it a little too remote.

Very comfortable apartment, well-equipped, with a great view. There's absolutely nothing missing. In addition, the owners are charming and very considerate. They received us wonderfully. Thank you for everything.

Anne Lise is a wonderful, responsive and available host. You helped us with all the information we needed. Nusfjord is a paradise on earth. I couldn't recommend staying in Nusfjord and at Anne Lise's accommodation any more. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, we felt at home. The fact that it has a private parking space at the door is amazing. The local population in Nusfjord is very friendly and helpful. The bakery is wonderful, the best in Lofoten. A delight! We were also lucky enough to be visited by a friendly couple of rabbits, who happily hopped through the forest behind the house. Everything is wonderful there! I totally recommend it. We’ve enjoyed our stay at Inger’s place. It was very convenient from the very and the groceries. We stayed just for a night but the place was more than perfect. The morning view was stunning.

We had a fantastic stay at Tórhallur’s place. Their place was the perfect home base for several day trips we had planned. And what an amazing view to wake up to with a cup of coffee. Highly recommend !

Jorun has had many guests in her house on Sommaroy. Like all guests before us, I can only confirm from the heart what a great hostess Jorun is and how comfortable we felt in her house from beginning to end!!!!! Even when arriving, the weather was anything but smooth, she was there for us with help and advice, thank you very much for that;) We will definitely come back again, on the one hand to enjoy Jorun's hospitality again and on the other hand to get a second chance to see the aurora lights, which unfortunately was not the case this time. We came for the fox and stayed for everything else. The house and its surroundings are beautiful and Anita and her parents are great hosts who make you feel at home immediately.

Fabulous few days at this wonderful cottage by the lake. The setting is spectacular and peaceful. The house has everything you could want and we made good use of the Kayaks, rowing boat sauna, hot tub etc. Jukka very helpful upon arrival and with his suggestions. Can't recommend more highly We will be back I'm sure.

Super location and exactly as described. We really enjoyed all the amenities, the surrounding area and the wildlife around the house such as various bird species. The house has beautiful and nice old accents and accessories which we really found to be an added value. The hot tub was amazing and super place. Very good place to stay during fishing trip on Storuman lake.

Came back to this lovely cottage for a second time. It is a wonderful listing that let's you easily forget time and place and just enjoy the peaceful surroundings while enjoying the relaxing amenities like hut tub and sauna. We'll hopefully be back !

The feeling is 5/5! Although the Finnish summer was not at its best when we arrived, the sauna and grill warmed up, the children enjoyed themselves and so did the adults. Children swim despite the rain and adults enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature. The framework is extremely good. Nothing negative to say! ❤️
