The Cabin - Jonskørstølen

This is an old and uniq cabin that was build in 1900. For several years it was used in the summer by milkmaids that had their animals up there. A cabin with soul! Without electricity the cabin is simple- you will get a resting heartrate pretty fast. The cabin is 1100m above sea level and have an untouched and spectacular nature around with several fishingwaters. Since the area is private there are no marked trails around but the possibilities for hiking is endless. Welcome to the mountains!

Totalt 80 kvadrat fordelt på gang, bad, soverom, kjøkken og stue med peisovn. Huset også kalt Fjøsen på Draugnes ligger på Arnøya i Nordtroms. Øya er kjent for gode jaktmuligheter på småviltjakt og fiske i sjø. Stor bestand av ørn. 3 km til matbutikk og hurtigbåtkai. Båt fra Tromsø anløper daglig.

There is a clear water natural spring in the yard, where you can take a dip throughout the year. The wooden sauna offers gentle steam. The house and yard are a wonderful, personal entity. Surrounded by dramatic mountains and oceans, Andørja is the most mountaineous island of Northern Europe. Mighty peaks shoot straight up from the sea. Few places are the landscape more conspicious than at Laupstad, where our farmhouse lies just between the sandy beach and mountains. We welcome singles, couples and families of every nationality! Fishing trips is possible. The midnight sun is best experienced by boat after all.

Renovated kufjøs from the 1800s. Fjøset is part of a small tuna and is nicely located with a short distance to many national parks. Newly built vintage style apartment in a former barn. The place is beautifully situated by the sea and mountains. Popular fishing spot for trout and salmon. Several kilometers of forest roads for walking. In winter, we have created a suitable fire pit to enjoy the Northern Lights that often beautifully dances across the sky.
