Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Northern Europe

I can't put into words how beautiful this place is. I think the pictures absolutely don't do the sweet cottage justice. It was just gorgeous. Amenities and cleanliness were impeccable. Even more impressive was the garden with all the animals and plants. You couldn't paint it more beautifully. We could hardly believe our luck. What you should know, however, is that the frogs can rob you of some sleep at night if you are not used to the sound. Upon arrival, we received nice tips for beautiful walks, which we also implement directly. The landscape is just fantastically beautiful. Breakfast is loving and sufficient. Dinner in the windmill is great. We will certainly often look back on this stay with wanderlust.

A great place to stay, it gave me inner peace, and I didn't need to explore the town at all. Sandra's house and garden are worth spending two or three days in.The details of the house reflect the care of Sandra and her husband, providing everything you may need (including various kitchen utensils, body care, mosquito repellent, etc.), and the bedding is clean, soft and fragrant.Sandra prepared a very generous breakfast, and the experience of having breakfast in the gazebo was very good.The vineyard in front of the window, the cats of loved ones in the yard, the lavender all over the floor, everything is like a dream!

Our host Jon was charming, informative, adaptable to our needs, made a great breakfast and kind. We really enjoyed the place. Thanks Jon!

I had a really nice stay in this idyllic, dreamy house in the middle of nature. Perfect for unplugging. I was particularly enthusiastic about the host's self-painted art. My room and the house are very lovingly decorated. Breakfast is a highlight with homemade rolls, fruit, homemade jams, etc. I felt very comfortable here with the tranquility, nature and really great hospitality!

Lovely Stay! Maria’s home is cozy and welcoming. She is very kind and helpful. The room has a beautiful view, and there are plenty of great hiking trails in the area. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay with Annie, Andrew and Stanley and would love to come back. The house has been lovingly restored and is beautifully decorated and furnished. We so enjoyed the delicious made to order breakfasts every morning that kept us going until dinner time. Stanley greeted us whenever we came and went and was a welcome surrogate for our own pup at home. The location is perfect - a short walk from the tube station and immediately across the street from beautiful Bishop’s Park. We truly can’t say enough about the Egmont Lodge and the warm welcome we received. Thank you so much Annie and Andrew.

This place is magical!! You have to get the sky loft room with the bathtub an breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne. You did need a rental car to book this place. But it’s worth it.

Lovely villa in Nocelle with breathtaking views. We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it, wish it was longer. Sofia was prompt in communicating and ensured we had a memorable stay. Would love to be back again soon.

Probably the best Air B&B we've ever stayed at. The apartment is a 5 minute or less walk from everything that you'll want to do during your stay. The apartment is super unique and just like in the pictures (actually even better in person). Jen was extremely helpful with the check-in and was available onsite when we arrived. We absolutely loved staying here and would recommend this place to anyone. Quick tip: get a taxi from the train station for 8 euros and save yourself the 20 minute walk through cobblestone streets with your luggage.

Bruna's house is beautiful with perfect sunset view and very well designed in and out. Just perfect for a vacation in Cabras.

Inger Berit went over and above what we would have expected from any hostess or host. She and her Husband went out of their way to make our stay as smooth as possible. My son and I would highly recommend their place and would rate it higher if we could!

Manuela and Diego are both very helpful, proactive and friendly people . Manuela met us at the check-in and helped us carry the luggage up. She gave us friendly advice about what to do and even booked our meal and taxi arrangements. They served nice breakfast. We felt comfortable. They gave us tips about local places and so, with their help, we managed to use our short stay of two days in Palermo most enjoyably. Their place is close to most must-see places, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We would definitely recommend their place, and hopefully will be back one day.

The house is ca 2 km far from the center. If you need to walk it would be ca 30 min. It is on top of a hill and from the gorgeous terrace you have a stunning view over the sea. All was there what we needed . We felt at home.good breakfast. I would choose it again.

It was a very relaxing and pleasant stay with Sara. She is very polite and accommodating. The breakfast is very tasty and the garden a small green oasis. The only thing that wasn't quite perfect for us was that the bed got a little hard after two nights. Thanks for the great stay, Sara.

Unfortunately, it was only 3 days. Totally warm welcome with a drink on the terrace, personally written card, small bouquet of flowers from the garden. The apartment with the amenities and location is a dream. The beds are mega, the breakfast sensational. It exceeded all our expectations. That wasn't the last visit. we had a wonderful stay at Faye's this weekend. even though it rained hard, we felt cosy and comfortable in the yurt enjoying the sound on the roof as we dozed off. the gardens are beautiful and the views out to the firth of forth are special. a real slice of paradise Faye and her partner were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed while also giving us privacy to enjoy our stay. thanks for having us

Really great stay for my partner and his brothers! They have a pizza oven which is super cool, and a nice campfire where you can sit and hang out. The place was very clean and spacious! Overall 10/10 ❤️

We lacked absolutely nothing, Nicholas was an excellent host, we felt super comfortable and enjoyed the stylish ambience very much. We had a great stay! The room and the surroundings are exceptionally beautiful. There is a great view into the valley on one side and to the mountains on the other side. The self check-in worked smoothly and Michaela is a great and forthcoming host.

A small paradisiacal cocoon in the heart of the village of Bréhat: the magnificent garden, a haven of peace; the dog that comes to say hello to us in the morning, the XXL breakfast in the sun with the birds singing... The room is small but very comfortable and well decorated, the only downside is the plastic curtain separating the room from the shower and toilets: not functional or effective, a simple fabric curtain would be more practical. Ideal for one or two nights because you can't cook too much, although there is a microwave and a kettle, but we didn't need it because we had family in another cottage on the island and there are many restaurants in the village. In short, an excellent place on this island that I know well but that always delights me as much as every stay!

We spent a very pleasant 10 days at Salvo and his parents place. After exploring the beautiful surrounding towns, we were able to spend time in the garden or cool off in the sea, to which there is direct access. The hosts are very hospitable and helpful. An ideal place for a quiet vacation in Sicily.

Sarah greeted us and gave us the warmest welcome, this was an absolutely perfect countryside escape! We had the most wonderful stay in this beautifully converted stable, tucked away in the stunning Kent countryside. The setting is peaceful and picturesque – a true retreat from the hustle and bustle. The space itself was spotlessly clean and styled to perfection, with a lovely blend of charm and comfort. The bed linens were luxurious and incredibly comfortable, and there were so many thoughtful touches throughout that made the stay feel extra special. Every detail had clearly been considered with care. We wouldn’t hesitate to return – a real hidden gem!
