Yurt vacation rentals in Northern Europe

Probably the best little get away we have ever done. Never stayed somewhere so amazing and beautiful, the fairy lights and flowers as the sun set and the night sky began to appear was just incredible. We made pizzas in the fire oven, went on a lovely forest walk and Emma even went the extra mile and provided a birthday cake for my girlfriend’s birthday which was such a lovely touch. Don’t hesitate, just book this now if you are ready for a perfect reset from normal life. Thanks Emma x

The most amazing stay. We live local and wanted a little getaway and it was the most perfect stay we could’ve asked for ✨ the location was beautiful and the highland cows were everywhere 🐮 The sunsets from the accommodation were outstanding and the accommodation was perfect. All the facilties were very clean and the private bathrooms are a great idea. We look forward to staying again, couldn’t reccommend enough

Tom was super responsive in answering us and providing us with useful and detailed explanations, he was very flexible allowing us a late check-in compared to the scheduled time. The accommodation is super special and cared for in every detail, it perfectly matches the photos and description, and is ideal for a romantic evening, highly recommended.

This place was exactly as it says on the tin, it is secluded, private and takes you right back to nature. It was a delight to have some friends around the fire pit catching up and having a good chin wag. When you wake up you are surrounded by the sounds of nature. The trail road to the accommodation is a little bumpy though.

Great place, loved it here. Even with other people around it still feels like you have your own space to disconnect from the world if that’s what you want. Some beautiful places nearby within 20mins of driving.

Beautiful yurt, very relaxing and cosy. Isla gave brilliant directions, helpful in every way. The yurt was equipped with everything you could possibly need, shower lovely and hot. We would love to return.

Stayed for a weekend to celebrate my son finishing college, with our little dog. John's communication prior to our stay, during and upon leaving was excellent; with clear instructions. The cabin was lovely, surrounded by fields and beautiful flowers. The bbq was, of course, the star of the attraction and the outside pit at night was a dream, making smores and watching the sunset. There was a fridge and shower area for cabin guests and the barn with pool, darts and tv to help pass any boredom. I wouldn't recommend a blow up bed personally but our self inflating mattresses with the cushions were comfortable. Bring your own bedding, towels and pillows. There are throws and cushions available but more for keeping you warm when outside. The shower room is accessible by the main house but the hosts John and Claire were both welcoming and respected our privacy. The paddock a stones through was great for our dog. A wonderful stay. Great place. The hosts were very friendly, always helpful and available at all times. The yurt, as well as the bathroom, is furnished with attention to detail, very clean and nothing is missing, which is rare. The bed is super cozy and the atmosphere of the yurt really lets you unwind. You can definitely escape the stress of everyday life here. The nature sounds also contribute to this. The outdoor area invited you to relax, even if it was not quite free from hibernation. The evening lighting was magical, so you could also stay outside in the evening. If you like it quieter and still want to be in Amsterdam, at Keukenhof and the surrounding area quickly by car, this is the place to be. I will definitely return and would recommend the accommodation to everyone.

The stay was beautiful, the road to it a little less because I had to drive through the mountains and some roads were a little narrow. But once at the destination, it was well worth the ride. What a great place, the yurt was great, the bathroom was nice and clean, and also the outdoor space was nicely decorated. Furthermore, the views were magnificent!

This was undoubtedly the best experience (and accommodation) I’ve ever had on Airbnb. Sophie and Callum were absolutely fantastic hosts. Their house is beautiful, and the yurt is truly something special. First of all, it’s so thoughtfully designed and well organized. It has everything you might need — and more — and it was spotless. It’s very spacious, and the bathroom and kitchen are simply adorable. Second, everything was clearly explained, and Sophie and Callum left us fresh breakfast in the kitchen every morning. You get the unique feeling of being surrounded by nature, yet with total comfort. Sophie also gave us plenty of great recommendations for things to do and see, as well as excellent tips for nearby restaurants (listen to her — her suggestions are gold! And if you get the chance, have lunch at the Stein Inn — the seafood was sensational!). Overall, you can really feel how much love Sophie and Callum have poured into the space. It was a wonderful experience. A magical place, cared for in every detail, both in the interior and in the outdoor garden. We stayed in the Jungle Yurt and also used the outdoor Jacuzzi. We had a wonderful stay! The location is very peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The host was extremely kind and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The terrace and garden were beautiful – ideal for enjoying the sun and the lovely view of nature. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommended – we would definitely love to come back!

Lovely stay in a cosy and warm yurt by a beautiful loch. Fantastic scenery, part of the NC500 especially over the pass to Applecross and back around the peninsula. Everything clean abd equipped with what you need for a short stay. Particularly grateful for the wood for the log burner the 1st night. Clear and helpful directions. Loved it.

Never stayed in a Yurt before and was equally excited but concerned as worried I’d not sleep and be cold. I can now officially say I love Yurts!! It was the most relaxing overnight stay I think I’ve ever had. We were lucky with the weather as it was a hot so popping outside to boil the kettle was a pleasure . I slept soundly and managed to read 3/4 of a hook as I was soo relaxed. Bought 3 bottles of their homemade apple juice as it was the best I’ve ever tasted All in all an amazing stay that I shan’t be forgetting Thanks Bertie Yertie x

We stayed at Melissa’s tranquil yurt for the second time and it was just as magical as the first. We relaxed in the wildflower meadow, made delicious food in the outdoor kitchen and sat by the fire in the evening. The zen break that we needed for the solstice weekend. We will be back! This by far was one of the most beautiful/Scenic home we've stayed in! There are no words to describe how amazing this family is. It's awesome to be able to explore their property, livestock, and organic farm! As for transportation, if you don't have your own car to rent, the bus is easily accessible and drops you off very close to the home. The yurt is perfect for 2, with everything you need! The fresh mountain spring water was a huge plus! We will definitely be back!! ♡

We were received super friendly, we were shown everything where what is, we were 8 people and we all felt very comfortable, the bathroom (in a construction trailer) was mega, very clean, everything there, the kitchen also super class, everything available, in the yurt itself, everything was also clean, everything available, the beds were all individual and you slept very well on them...
