Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Northern Europe

Ich kann gar nicht in Worte fassen, wie schön diese Unterkunft ist. Ich finde, die Bilder werden dem süßen Häuschen absolut nicht gerecht. Es war einfach nur herrlich. Ausstattung und Sauberkeit waren einwandfrei. Noch bestechender war nur der Garten mit all den Tieren und Pflanzen. Schöner könnte man es nicht malen. Wir konnten uns Glück kaum fassen. Was man allerdings wissen sollte, die Frösche können einem nachts schon etwas den Schlaf rauben, wenn man den Sound nicht gewöhnt ist. Bei der Ankunft bekamen wir nette Tipps für schöne Spaziergänge, die wir auch direkt umsetzen. Die Landschaft ist einfach nur traumhaft schön. Das Frühstück ist liebevoll und ausreichend. Abendessen in der Windmühle top. Wir werden bestimmt oft mit Fernweh auf diesen Aufenthalt zurückblicken.

非常棒的住宿体验，让我获得了内心的宁静，住在这里完全不需要去镇上探索，Sandra的房子和花园本身就值得花上两三天静静待着。房子的细节能体现出Sandra夫妇二人的用心，提供一切你可能会需要的东西（包括各种厨具、身体护理、蚊香驱蚊液等等），床品也是干净柔软且散发淡淡香气。Sandra准备的早餐也非常丰盛，在凉亭里用早餐的体验非常美好。窗前的葡萄园、院子里亲人的猫咪、满地的薰衣草，一切都像梦一样！

Obwohl Jon unseren Aufenthalt alleine stemmen musste, war er ein ausgezeichneter Gastgeber in allen Lebenslagen sogar bei einem notfallmaßigen Reifenwechsel. Und auch das Frühstück war mit viel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet und sehr umfangreich. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können dieses Domizil uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen. Ich hatte einen richtig schönen Aufenthalt in diesem idyllisch gelegenen, traumhaften Haus mitten in der Natur. Es ist perfekt zum Abschalten. Besonders begeistert hat mich die selbstgemalte Kunst der Gastgeberin. Mein Zimmer und das Haus sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist ein Highlight mit selbst gebackenen Brötchen, Obst, hausgemachten Marmeladen usw. Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt mit der Ruhe, der Natur und der wirklich tollen Gastfreundschaft!

Wir hatten bei Maria einen Zwischenstop auf unserer Reise in den Süden. Nach der Ankunft verbrachten wir einen entspannten Abend auf dem gemütlichen Balkon unseres Zimmeres mit Blick in die Berge. Sehr gut geschlafen und uns mit Marias leckerem Frühstück in ihrer Küche bei angenehmer Unterhaltung mit ihr für die Weiterfahrt gestärkt. Wir werden sicher bei Gelegenheit wieder ihre Gäste sein. Maria und ihr Haus haben uns mit ihrer freundlichen und offenen Atmosphäre sofort in den Urlaubsmodus versetzt. Absolut empfehlenswert!!

We loved our stay with Annie, Andrew and Stanley and would love to come back. The house has been lovingly restored and is beautifully decorated and furnished. We so enjoyed the delicious made to order breakfasts every morning that kept us going until dinner time. Stanley greeted us whenever we came and went and was a welcome surrogate for our own pup at home. The location is perfect - a short walk from the tube station and immediately across the street from beautiful Bishop’s Park. We truly can’t say enough about the Egmont Lodge and the warm welcome we received. Thank you so much Annie and Andrew.

This place is magical!! You have to get the sky loft room with the bathtub an breathtaking views of Lake Lucerne. You did need a rental car to book this place. But it’s worth it.

Excellent séjour dans la Villa Sofia. Petit havre de paix avec une vue à couper le souffle. Pas simple d’accès au départ mais cela en vaut la peine. Hôtes très accueillants ayant une magnifique maison ! Arrivée flexible. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Probably the best Air B&B we've ever stayed at. The apartment is a 5 minute or less walk from everything that you'll want to do during your stay. The apartment is super unique and just like in the pictures (actually even better in person). Jen was extremely helpful with the check-in and was available onsite when we arrived. We absolutely loved staying here and would recommend this place to anyone. Quick tip: get a taxi from the train station for 8 euros and save yourself the 20 minute walk through cobblestone streets with your luggage.

Vicki and John’s house is simply stunning set in breathtaking surroundings. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome and at home and they could not have been more helpful in suggesting local places to visit. The house is extremely well appointed and the breakfast was simply delicious both mornings, made with all local produce. The home made bread and granola were particularly scrumptious. We will be back, thank you again.

Die Unterkunft von Sara ist wunderschön und sehr geschmackvoll im Vintage-Stil eingerichtet – wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist ideal: ruhig, aber dennoch zentral, mit vielen Restaurants in der Nähe. Vom Bahnhof, der nur wenige Minuten entfernt ist, sind wir bequem Richtung Cinque Terre gestartet. Eine tolle Basis für Ausflüge und zum Entspannen – absolut empfehlenswert!

Bruna's house is beautiful with perfect sunset view and very well designed in and out. Just perfect for a vacation in Cabras.

To start off, this is one of the nicest air bnb’s I have ever stayed in. The pictures do not give the view justice. Francesco was beyond amazing, so friendly and very very respectful. He collected us from the bus stop when we first arrived. Suggested this amazing restaurant called Lucas which was only a 3 minute walk down the steps from his house. Breakfast was probably the highlight to our day, the view you get while eating a delicious, nutritious meal was beyond. We will definitely be back to Francesco’s Airbnb next year, without a doubt the kindest air BnB host we have ever met. We went to the Amalfi coast on our second day, the bus journey was roughly 20/25 minutes and it stopped right outside Luca’s restaurant which again is very close by Francesco home. Francesco joined us for dinner on our last night and the conversation between us all just flowed, we learned so much about his nationality and family. Thank you Francesco, a great person, who is now our friend. ☺️

Olga and Vivienne make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The place is a friendly divine oasis in the valley with birds, cats, horses and dogs all around the lovely pool. In an environment where nature feels still unaffected by human impact and our plastic waste. The joint breakfast with the other guests is a great start of the day especially as Olga is introducing different recipies of Sicilian breakfast every day.

Alasdair and Ross (his dog) are both excellent company: They made us feel very much at home in their lovely, wild corner of Harris. Spectacular sea views from the living room and walks from the front door. The breakfasts Alasdair provides are second to none, with eggs from his free range hens. The house has plenty of space, yet feels warm and cozy at the same time, a good place to sit and read, especially when the weather beats down outside. The kitchen is well organised, with everything neatly in its place. The bedroom and adjacent bathroom give guests plenty of privacy. The twin beds are comfy and the shower superb. This is one of the nicest places we’ve stayed and we hope to return soon. 100% recommended.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment chez Aurélie. Elle et son mari Michael ont été très accueillants et de bon conseil pour les balades et l'histoire des lieux. La localisation est à proximité immédiate de nombreux sites touristiques. Le logement est une petite pépite pour se ressourcer au calme et faire une parenthèse relaxante et déconnectée des tracas de la vie quotidienne. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le spa, la décoration de l'hébergement et le calme des lieux. Tout est prévu pour un moment de relaxation en toute intimité : le spa bien sûr, mais aussi l'éclairage doux et réglable, l'enceinte pour la musique, le tout dans une décoration soignée et authentique. Nous avons opté pour un repas et des boissons proposés sur place, ce qui nous a permis de n'avoir rien à penser. Les petits déjeuners étaient par ailleurs excellents. Merci à vous deux, nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

we had a wonderful stay at Faye's this weekend. even though it rained hard, we felt cosy and comfortable in the yurt enjoying the sound on the roof as we dozed off. the gardens are beautiful and the views out to the firth of forth are special. a real slice of paradise Faye and her partner were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed while also giving us privacy to enjoy our stay. thanks for having us

The place was amazing, perfect view of mountains, super clean and great breakfast. The host was super kind and helpful, she spoke both Italian and fluent English. Really loved the stay totally worth the price and highly recommend it!

Uns fehlte es an absolut gar nichts, Nicholas war ein hervorragender Gastgeber, wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und haben das stilvolle Ambiente sehr genossen. Nicholas seinen Empfehlungen für Aktivitäten und Restaurants waren super hilfreich und haben unseren Geschmack auf den Punkt getroffen. Absolutely stunning grounds and uniquely structured Airbnb. Our host that greeted us (Filipa) was exceptional in providing support and so kind. She showed us the grounds which were spectacular, made us rice pudding (delicious!) and greeted us with a chocolate cake. 🎂 The hot tub at night was wonderful. The bed was comfortable and the Airbnb was well appointed. The location for us (because we did not have a car) was a little remote but we did walk to town and found a Mercado and a great restaurant. All in all a great memory! Thank you Filipa❤️

Maria and Frank are some of the nicest AirBnB hosts I've encountered. I felt so well looked after (the stocked fridge with breakfast bits and bobs was a lovely touch), and nothing was too much. The room was lovely and comfortable with a great wee en-suite. I'll be staying again!

Un petit cocon paradisiaque en plein coeur du bourg de Bréhat : le magnifique jardin havre de paix ; la chienne qui vient nous dire bonjour le matin , le petit déjeuner XXL au soleil avec le chant des oiseaux ... . La chambre est petite mais très confortable et bien décorée , le seul bémol est le rideau plastique de séparation de la chambre avec la douche et les WC : pas fonctionnel ni efficace , un simple rideau tissu serait plus pratique . Idéal pour une ou deux nuits car on ne peut pas trop cuisiner , bien qu'il y ait un micro ondes et une bouilloire , mais nous n'en avions pas besoin car nous avions de la famille dans un autre gite sur l'île et il y a de nombreux restaurants dans le bourg . Bref, une excellente adresse sur cette île que je connais bien mais qui me ravit toujours autant à chaque séjour !

Es war eine wunderbare Auszeit. Mitten in der Natur, traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge, genau das Richtige zum Runterkommen und Relaxen. Ein sehr schöner Garten und eine gemütliche Unterkunft mit Privatsphäre. Trotzdem wären Sanne oder Vincent immer greifbar gewesen. Danke für die Gastfreundschaft! Liebe Grüße Christoph & Corinna
