Poppy’s place is a great place to stay if visiting York. Hickory’s restaurant just 16 mins walk away and FootGolf over the road. Good use of space would highly recommend! If it’s forecast high 20’s low 30’s I would bring a fan with you as it gets very warm through the evening. Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely stay in the future.

This is a really beautiful property! Although one has to deal with many steps, the beauty and peacefulness and quiet are really worth it. It is comfortable, well equipped, and quiet, with a really charming balcony to sit on – a lovely view of the Abbey. Very easy access to town, beaches, et cetera. The host was helpful, and answered our queries fully and promptly. We would certainly recommend it.

We had a great week in this flat and would definitely return , Pubs & restaurants on your doorstep and a great balcony to sit out on and watch the world go by. Also Nick our host is a nice guy .

The Guest Place was a lovely place to stay, perfectly appointed (with a really comfy bed!), spotlessly clean and in a gorgeous street. Walking distance to amenities and the beach too. Ann was a great host, communicated regularly and made me feel really welcome. I hope to stay again!

This is our second stay at low tide, stayed in 2023 and it was as beautiful as it was then! Super clean, gorgeous decor, great little courtyard and lovely little touches for the doggy (dog bowls, blanket)! Hosts were very quick to respond to any messages! Great location, 2 mins to the beach, private parking you coudnt ask for anymore! Will be back again 100%

Sheila and Pete were great hosts really friendly and welcoming and nothing too much trouble. The accommodation was faultless very homely and literally a 5 minute walk from the station. We were able to leave our possessions earlier than the checkin time which was fantastic as otherwise would’ve been lugging them about all day. They left us a lovely welcoming card and some gorgeous fresh scones with all the trimmings . Will definitely be booking to stay again. A charming well appointed little apartment. It was beautifully clean and tidy. If Main Street Haworth is your focus it’s quite a steep walk to get there but worth it. Having free parking so close is a real bonus. Dealing with Ruth was easy and she was very accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

A beautifully appointed, stylish downstairs flat with exceptionally tasteful decor and fittings all to a very high standard. A luxurious kitchen with everything provided including complimentary teas and coffee as well as milk in the fridge which was very much appreciated and a good range of quality kitchen appliances and crockery. Excellent host who communicated perfectly and provided clear instructions about the facilities available. We definitely have this on our list for a return visit sometime and have already recommended it to friends and family.

A beautiful , wonderfully decorated house just a 20 min walk to the centre of York . Spotlessly clean and tidy and hosts went to the effort of adding an “ anniversary banner and balloons “ for us which was a lovely touch ( as well as Prosecco and sweet treats ) Hosts were fantastic and very responsive to our messages , we had a fantastic stay . Wow! What a beautiful cottage in Staithes. The beds were super comfy, beautifully decorated throughout with everything needed for a self catering stay. The host David, was really friendly and met us on arrival to show us around the cottage. He even dropped off a pack of cards later in the day as we had forgotten ours! Stunning views on opening the lounge doors to hear the birds nesting in the cliffs and watch the tide coming in. We will definitely be staying again, soon hopefully! Thank you

Amazing location, easy walk up onto the moors or into Rosedale along the river valley. Beautifully restored and fitted out. Everything tool you could possibly need was provided in the kitchen. Peaceful seating area out the back and we loved seeing the rabbits and hearing the owls.

Great little find. Helens communication was first class. The place was just the right size for us, had all we needed especially as we ate in half of the time. very hot week and the property being split level helped, as the downs stairs bedroom was nice and cold. very clean neat and tidy. Would I come again? sure, if it was not so far away.

Really enjoyed our stay. Sandsend is a better choice for us than Whitby as it’s quiet, has a lovely beach and has great variety for places to eat out. Accommodation is great and all restaurants are easily walkable. Great place for dogs as the back garden is fully enclosed. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Silvia made our stay absolutely wonderful. She was very informative from the start. The home was very well maintained, clean and very tidy. We celebrated our anniversary during our stay and the personal added touches made a great start to our weekend away. Very thoughtful! The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The manual was very helpful and listed everything we needed to know about local amenities, aswel as having leaflets on what York had to offer. Would million percent recommend this host and there beautiful home. The home was in a good location and also offered parking. Check in and out was very easy and we had a very lovely time in York thanks to the amazing hosting of Silvia. Don't hesitate to book your stay here. Fantastic! This was our first holiday away with our toddler, and it was perfect. There were toys and books available, as well as a travel cot and high chair. The private garden was appreciated to kick a ball around. The whole place was immaculate and Lora should be very proud of this place. Big bonus - during a heatwave, the bedrooms remained max 22 degrees (we bought our room thermometer from home). We kept the curtains closed all day and everyone slept well at night in the cool. The fish and chip shop up the hill provided us with a delicious takeaway for our first night. It was only 10 minutes drive to the local Lidl, and another 10 to Whitby town centre. We may well be back!

The cottage is delightful, very clean and well equipped. The bed is very comfortable. The location was great, a short walk to the city and we loved climbing the hill back to the cottage. There is a Sainsbury’s mini market within walking distance. Wendy was a great host and answered our questions promptly.

We enjoyed our stay in Sophie’s place. The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable. It was also well situated for exploring the delightful city of Ripon and the surrounding area.

We had a fantastic 4 day visit to the beautiful city of York based on Jenny's well located listing. Very rare spot at the center of it all, with large, excellent, Marks and Spencer grocers right out the front door. All the excitement of adjacent narrow passage ways through the Shambles. One of the best parts of being so close was the easy ability to wander through in the morning hours, before the other many tourists visiting York begin to crowd in. Comfortable flat, super-friendly and communicative host.

John and Lindsay were perfect hosts, friendly and approachable. The annex was as described and more as the facilities offered exceeded expectations. The welcome pack was a lovely bonus. Great location to walk from on Cinder track or Cleveland Way. Good public transport links and good pubs in the village and nearby.

this flat was amazing for our short stay in Whitby. Val was a very great host, extremely helpful with her recommendations of what to do in the town. the place was very clean and we especially loved that we were able to use Netflix for a little movie night in! nothing to complain about.

Outstanding! For two travellers Eleanor's quiet haven in York is a gem. Location is ideal being easy walking to/from the hubbub of central York with an elegant setting in leafy quiet retreat after our busy days within the city walls. Furnished tastefully with a period feel, though modern in layout and fit out. Attention to detail with everything awaiting our stay was exceptional.

We had a great stay and would highly recommend The Loft. The apartment is beautiful, spotlessly clean and has everything you need including tea and coffee. The bottle of fizz in the fridge was much appreciated! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a drink, relaxing with a beautiful view of the Minster. The location was perfect - very centrally located and just a short walk to the Minster. The parking space was a bit tight for a big car but manageable, and definitely good to have with parking being at a premium in York. The hosts were so helpful and very quick to respond to any questions. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely visit again!
