Kid-friendly vacation rentals in North Ostrobothnia

Everything went just right. Lovely place, private and good destination on the way from north to south. The children were comfortable, they were wonderfully taken care of. The house had a warm atmosphere, it was a welcome feeling. We can come again!

Property as advertised. Professional communication. I would come again. Extra: +A large enough yard for parking cars and trailers. +The water area in front of the cottage was at least this time fishable with waders and a spinning rod.

I was on a bike trip with my brother and we had a great time ending our trip here, where we got to sauna and sleep in comfortable beds! In addition, the house was wonderful and cozy in every way! I really appreciate the washing machine and dishwasher! The house was located in a pleasant residential area, a convenient distance from the city center.

This place is the best to stay with your family amid the beauty of the natural, the owner is very friendly and helpful, I really recommend it

We had a lovely stay at this lovely cottage, and especially enjoyed Sara's responsiveness, the large shower area - sauna, the magical surroundings for walking in Finnish nature ❄️ Although we came without children, we found the stuffed giraffe adorable 💕 Very happy with this choice of accommodation 😊

We rented both apartments in this semi-detached house for Easter. Our daughter's family of 2 adults and three children in the bigger and Grandma and Pappa in the smaller. We were brilliantly satisfied and the surroundings were peaceful,not a long distance to shops and services about, 2km. Outdoor terrain right from the door,skiing, jogging,Frisbee trails, etc . The apartment is located in a prime location near the center of Oulu and the sea. The view from the apartment is like a painting, it could have been admired for longer. Beautiful decor, peaceful atmosphere. Everything went very well, we recommend the place to others. We will return again as soon as possible.

We stayed for 4 nights at Mikkos place and absolutely loved it! The location was great - 5 minutes by foot to the city centre (if that) but also really quiet. We really liked the apartment. It was really clean and had all the amenities we might need (washing machine and dishwasher, but also additional things like some seasonings, coffee and tea, body wash and shampoo...). It felt like Mikko thought of everything! One highlight was that Mikko borrowed us bikes which we used to explore the nature around and which made it really easy to explore the areas that would be a bit far by foot. Overall I would highly recommend it and would stay there again if we visit Kajaani again!

Very cozy and nice apartment! In the summer, especially the balcony plus the possibility of borrowing a bike. Excellent bed and pillows, I recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Annukka is such a kind and helpful host. We appreciated the detailed instructions for the appliances and loved all of the amenities in the apartment (including a well-equipped kitchen, nice organic products and lots of shelf space). We very quickly felt at home and were sad to leave. Highly recommended!

Very nice clean, small, modern and stylish apartment with a large bathroom. I really liked the view out of the window: great sunsets. The window goes to a large street - it is quiet, though. I had a great stay and would definitely come back.

Clean and new apartment. It was easy to find and free Parking nearby. Very clear instructions from Johannes. All the needed amenities for studio apartment. Small details like fan, phone charger and drying rack was good addition. For the price there can't be better accomodation.

We had a lovely stay. Apartment was perfect for 3 persons, especially since there are two toilets and a cozy living room. It was great.

The accommodation is of course recommended in winter due to the location in the ski resort but also in summer for outdoor activities. Although it is small, everything necessary is available. The communication with Ilari was straightforward.

We stayed in Mervi's apartment in Oulu for the weekend and had a great time. Communicating with Merv was friendly and smooth, we got answers to our questions and inquiries quickly, and overall, there was a lot of flexibility in terms of accommodation both on arrival and departure. The apartment was already charming based on the photos, but it really delighted us with its comfort and functionality. The details were taken into account nicely, making the apartment a really pleasant accommodation, in addition to which the apartment was practical, offering all the amenities you need for a weekend stay. We will be happy to be Mervi's tenants again as long as we visit Oulu again and we can warmly recommend the place to other travelers.
