Apartment vacation rentals in North Dorset District

A lovely little base for the solo traveller, with a private front door and free parking. Walkable distance to town and beach through lovely park and gardens. Hosts were responsive and helpful. Will come again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean upon arrival, bright and comfortable. Quiet at night. Nice views from the living area over the harbor and looking over the town from the large bedroom. As Suzanne had noted in the listing, there is no assigned parking space which could be an issue. We had to pay to park the day of arrival. It’s free after 6pm until 8am. One item we’d suggest adding would be a clothes hanger for drying as the machine didn’t seem to actually dry anything. We’d highly recommend Seagulls restaurant (book in advance). Unassuming place but food was excellent. We also liked Platform for a Sunday roast and Rise for breakfast. The George was decent. If we’re back in West Bay, we’d definitely stay again.

Lovely cosy third-floor apartment with cracking views over the bay which is a 10 minute walk away. Really well equipped, loads of bedroom storage, and lots of thoughtful touches like a water filter in the fridge, multiple coffee-making options (great for me), teapot (great for my wife) wet clothes hanger in the bathroom. It felt like Sally had kitted the place out to stay there herself. We were worried it was going to be too hot given how high up it is and how warm the weather was, but opening the windows in the lounge and bathroom caused a nice through draft that kept things cool. It's up a hill and a few flights of stairs but totally worth the effort to get there. Would definitely visit again.

Gorgeous apartment.We loved it.We had a great weekend exploring Wimborne and beyond.Everything was immaculate with a high attention to detail.Maggie Is a very responsive host and so helpful.Maggie also helped us with local food recommendations, much appreciated.Can’t wait to come back.

We had a lovely two night stay at Little September Cottage. The food hamper was much appreciated, the hosts were very friendly and the apartment had everything we needed.

Great value for money. Ann went over and above, as described on other reviews. Communicated brilliantly when we were informing her of what was going on after our car broke down. After a long drive it was great that some essentials were provided. There’s was great info and tips about the local area. She also left us a card and a sweet treat since we were on our honeymoon. The peg wall of leaflets is a lovely touch. Amazingly close to the white horse as well. We didn’t use the laundry facilities but it was great that it was there. Thanks for a great stay.

This was the perfect location for my work trip to Bath - Julie was an incredibly kind and supportive host, and was so welcoming when I arrived. I will definitely book again!

It’s a good size for 2 people. Yes you are right next to a busy main road & that’s the view from the balcony but for the price it was worth it! I appreciated the details, like the micellar water, cotton buds, shower gel etc & plenty of toilet roll for our stay. I found the bed comfortable, my partner struggled with it being too soft but he was delighted with the fan in the bedroom! Kitchen was well equipped with oils, herbs/ salt& pepper One suggestion however, is to upgrade the kitchen bin as it’s far too small & has no lid which isn’t great if you’re throwing away rubbish! Another suggestion would be to provide another decent sized glass, as I had to have a beer from a mug! I’d also recommend bringing an extra washing up sponge/ tea towel as the sponge especially smelt quite bad. It was about 10 min walk away from the beach/town, & a co-op just down the road. Also a few minutes drive to a huge Asda. Overall would stay here again, thank you for having us! ☺️

Graham and Linda were very responsive, superb and very kind. They were especially flexible with check in and check out times when we were delayed and running late. We had a brilliant weekend stay at their place which is in a wonderful location with stunning views of the harbour and very close to the beach and all of the beachfront restaurants, cafes and pubs. Thank you for helping make our trip to Weymouth a special one which we shall remember for a long time.

We loved our stay on the bus. The bus was lots of fun, especially the driver’s seat and stairs. The setting was lovely and camping facilities were great (hot and clean showers). The farm shop over the road was great and plenty to do nearby. Highly recommended.

‘Rowsley’ really is delightful accommodation - beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and tucked away in a peaceful location yet only a short distance from the iconic Lyme Regis seafront. What more could guests want?!! Many thanks Sheena, hopefully we’ll be back one day.

Beautiful apartment. Super comfy bed, hot shower, kitchen had everything we needed and the conservatory was too beautiful for words. Would 100% recommend and we would stay again.

Anna's place is a beautiful. It is done up to a beautiful standard, and a great location to explore Weymouth, durdle door and Lulworth cove. Positives: - beautiful welcome pack on arrival - clean linen and towels - all instructions were easy to use - lovely spacious and airy - It has a spar right next door. - parking onsite - jacuzzi was nice Negatives -I believe Anna has new cleaners that day so kitchen and bathroom weren't 100% clean and bit musty. -the garden could do with a bit of maintenance - there is no stair gate for stairs worth noting for people with young kids. - no microwave (if needed) Overall it was a fab stay and we would definitely stay there again. Anna was quick to respond to my feedback and a superb host

A place I can really recommend

Very comfortable stay. Great location in Sandbanks, in a peaceful location in short walking distance to the restaurants, and access to the dog friendly beach is just across the road. The property was ideal for us, spacious, plenty of room in the lounge, kitchen areas and bedrooms, and very well equipped. Direct access to the garden was great as we had our dog with us, and the hot tub was a welcomed bonus. Leyla was super responsive, gave us all the details and attention needed. Very grateful to her. We will definitely stay again.

One of the best places my wife and I have ever stayed on Airbnb. What a find! Immaculate, high quality fixtures and fittings - those staying are in for a fun surprise when using lavatory and bed lol :) The hot tub was the perfect temperature for relaxing (easy instructions). Location wise within easy walking distance of some nice places to eat plus the nearby train station - Bristol is then only 10mins away by rail and an interesting/picturesque place to explore (be aware the ticket purchasing machine at Heynsham isn't obvious but is on the other side of the platform). Once in Bristol, would recommend using Uber to nip up to Clifton (beautiful architecture inc. Suspension Bridge plus more fab places to eat). Our long weekend ended with an easy drive up to and walk around the lovely Westonburt Orboretum. Julie thanks for an amazing stay, the little touches that make all the difference and all your recommendations. We shall be back!

Quality furnishings and super warm welcoming vibe to the apartment. My partner and I felt at home and relaxed during our stay. The only tiny thing would be we struggled to eat meals as there’s no table and chairs in the apartment. Apart from this we really enjoyed our stay.

Tony is an AMAZING Host! Super pro active, communicative, Nice and a very good driver! I have booked it for solscite in stonehenge and it wouldnt be the same without Tony’s support during our stay. Will definitely come back soon… THANK YOU TONY AND ROSEMARY
