Vacation rentals with a kayak in Nicoya Peninsula

Alexa was super attentive and helpful. We had everything we needed at the house. The beach chairs were a huge plus! As were the many beach towels. Check out Gracia restaurant ! Also the pickleball and tennis facility down the road is where we sent so much our time - world lass facility! A great rental near so much!

Manuel & Elkin made this vacation a hit! The setup of the house was perfect for 2 families. King beds(very comfortable) and private baths for parents and kids had plenty of space and own bathrooms. The pool was perfect size and the open kitchen allowed great gathering spaces. Elkin the caretaker shows up immediately whenever you need anything and extremely helpful, even texted us one morning to let us know the monkeys were out and walked us to them, plus he's an amazing human! -Grocery store right next door open 7am-9pm-make sure to try the lunch special and empanadas cooked out front of store. -Fabulous Bakery next door accepts US dollars has amazing pastries -Coffee shop 3 minute walk on way to beach with pop dinner while we were there! -Pedro for surf board lessons and rental on the way to the beach -Full bar restaurant overlooking beach for dinners after evening swims watching the sun go down. -close to Playa Hermosa and Santa Teresa, so nice to stay away from the hustle.

This was a very unique experience for our large family group. Having a beautiful beach within just a very short walk was the best part. Some amenities within the subdivision but easy to take water taxi over to Tamarindo during the day. Our host was very hospitable and responsive to anything we needed. We were all very happy with our stay.

Great location. Family of howler monkeys there 24/7 during our stay. Recommend renting golf cart to get to beach club.

My family and I stayed at this property for a week, the house is modern, spacious and very comfortable. We had 6 people and the space was perfect. We would go to Flamingo beach, which is our favorite, in 15 minutes. The pool would be very nice and the small pool in the house was ideal for cooling off. Good service from Don Santiago, the guard, and good communication with Jennifer. We will definitely be back!

Joseph’s property is a serene, peaceful retreat surrounded by lush greenery and just a five-minute walk to the ocean. The tranquil setting and nature’s beauty made it the perfect escape for New Year's Eve. One highlight was meeting Macho, the friendly “guardian” dog, who quickly became a cherished part of our stay. Joseph’s hospitality was exceptional—he was kind, responsive, and even made us delicious homemade pizza one evening. We had a small misunderstanding about bringing two dogs instead of one, but Joseph was incredibly understanding and welcomed both with open arms. The property itself was well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, with inviting outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy nature. Our only minor issue was a missed cleaning service, but Joseph apologized and offered to reschedule, though it was too close to our departure to be worthwhile. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we’d love to return!

A very cozy house, the place is incredibly quiet. Very accessible to any supermarket; restaurants, sodas, ice cream parlors and very close to Liberia. Ponderosa 18 minutes away. Josep was an excellent host, without a doubt when we return to the area we already know where to stay.

Villa Havana was great. Perfect for a group of people looking to still have privacy. Michelle took great care of us and was always ready to help if we needed anything. Can’t wait to stay again.

Margaret's place was above and beyond beautiful inside and out. It was so serene and peaceful. A bowl of fresh fruit welcomed us on our arrival and was a lovely touch. The view from the master bedroom was incredible! We spent our mornings on the porch drinking coffee and listening/watching the birds. Margaret was quick to respond to our questions. We took a hike down to Lake Cote which was just around the corner. The location is perfect only being 15 min from town but beautifully secluded. The grounds are so lush and beautiful. We will definitely return and would encourage anyone to stay at Margaret's place!

Tranquil, quiet stay. Very fairly priced. Israel was quick to respond to questions and very helpful.

I was lucky enough to spend 3 nights in the bamboo casita with my girlfriend. The location is perfect; the beach felt like our own private beach. The property was well maintained, rich with wildlife, and felt safe. A true pura vida experience! We recommend coming in the low season, we loved that it was so quiet and relaxing. Thanks kike for being such a hospitable host! We hope to come back one day!
