Super amazing stay at Amber's Airbnb! Amber is an amazing host; great communication, super responsive and proactive. Lovely large open home with a spacious Living/ Dining space that made it ideal to hang out in during our stay. Beautiful kitchen, perfect for cooking and baking home made meals! House was exactly like the photos and was easy to travel to New Plymouth town and Mount Egmont; so ideal! Was lovely to have fresh eggs in the morning and feijoas as snacks. Dasi (the cat) was a bonus! Super friendly! Amber also provided some great local recommendations. She went above and beyond! Looking forward to staying here again. All the best. :)

The home was well appointed, built exceptionally well. We loved the central heating that kept us warm especially when the temps dropped on the first night. View of Mt Taranaki was such a treat! Kids enjoyed the garden, the trampoline. It’s a beautiful home, we felt a tad uncomfortable as it is obviously Sabine’s own home too. They welcomed us like their own! Thank you for opening your home to us.

Amazing location and views, kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and there was plenty of space throughout the whole house.

We had a truly fantastic time staying in Kylie’s home. The place is incredibly spacious and super comfortable in every way. And the pool house, is an actual dream. We had many delighted 12 year olds (and two adult big kids) who were deliriously happy playing on the flying fox and water slide. The whole set up in the pool room means you can prepare everything in the well stocked small kitchen, cook on the large bbq just outside, eat together at the table then relax on the comfortable chairs afterwards. Good speaker and television out there as well. We got to watch one day of Te Matatini from the pool! Brilliant. But for me, the absolute standout was the view of our Mountain, Taranaki and Pouakai which you are greeted with as you drive toward the house and have a spectacular view of from the small hill right beside the house. It’s a magical place. Would definitely stay again in a heartbeat. Kylie is a wonderful host and great communicater.

Such a beautiful house! You can tell a lot of love went into making this such an amazing home. So much room to hang out, both inside and out, so much character and charm, and clean modern bathrooms.

This magical place was a surreal and peaceful experience for us … the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at and everything was perfect.. the cosy home was surrounded in nature, views of lake, outside fireplace and indoor, a spa, glow worms on a nature walk, birds and two happy ducks in the lake. The bed was amazing and kitchen with all your needs and more. So much silence and had the best time there we will definitely come again. Priceless

We had a lovely stay at Sarah's, she got in touch to ask about our plans before and gave us great recommendations and met us on arrival. The place is so lovely and Sarah was very kind in letting us explore the property with sheep, pigs, an orchard and lots of amazing home produce. Beds were very comfy, the mezzanine bed has a window looking out from the side and a sky light which was beautiful at night. The bathroom and the kitchen were exactly what we needed. A little electric bench top oven, hot plate and kettle and fridge. There is a beach 1 km down the road which was lovely for sunset. We only stayed 1 night but would love to come again!

The perfect getaway! The cabin has everything you need and the whenua is incredible. Shelley - the host - is lovely and full of mannakitanga. Looking forward to staying again :)
