Absolutely loved our stay. Plenty of room, lovely home backed right on the beach. Didnt even mind that one day was horrible weather, was cosy to stay in and play with the board games. Cant wait to book again.

My wife and I had a lovely and relaxing stay at the Post Office Cottage. The cottage and surrounds is charming and peaceful to spend time in, and within easy proximity to attractions in the Taranaki area. Thanks for having us!

I had a lovely stay for work ar Bach Break. The apartment was perfect for everything I needed and the coastal walk was incredible for early morning runs! Great location for having peace and quiet but also being totally accessible to town centre, the airport and anything else you want to do in New Plymouth. 100% recommend for an easy stay!

For people who love gardening this was the perfect stay. It filled our cup with it 's comfort and cosiness in the beautiful cabin with the absolute bonus of sharing conversation with Jody and Tanya. We left inspired, relaxed and with a bunch of great ideas to take away.

Super helpful hosts which made check in and out super easy! Very cosy little spot with a great pizza oven and seated area outside.

Can’t speak highly enough of Christina and her wonderful place. The airbnb sits in amongst their garden and offers the most beautiful views. It’s such a cozy cabin, and every single detail was thought of. Very cosy, and even with the temperatures dropping you have the option of both an outdoor furnace and a heater indoors. Christina very kindly gave us some dried flowers from her garden. Have told all our friends and family about this listing. Loved our stay, and will absolutely be back again!

A slice of wild paradise! Our stay at Alan and Freya’s sanctuary was unforgettable. The place is beyond beautiful, tucked into nature, full of charm, and radiating peace. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and at ease. The animals were an absolute highlight: two adorable alpacas, friendly pigs, playful goats (yes, we got to play with them!), chickens wandering around, it truly felt like a gentle farm haven. The cabin itself is stunning. The bed is super comfy, the indoor fireplace kept us cozy, and the shower with a view of the forest felt like something out of a dream. At night, we soaked in the hot tub under the stars, no connection, no TV, just stillness and nature. Absolute bliss. They even thought of the little things: a selection of games (we LOVED Banana Grams and Monopoly), thoughtful touches, and such kind, genuine hosts. Alan and Freya are beautiful souls, warm, welcoming, and inspiring with the way they’ve created this sanctuary. We had the best time

If you’re looking for a quite remote getaway this is the way to go only wished we could have stayed longer. Nice for a family get away as there are 3 other cabins available. Nice place to reset the Wairua very little coverage which is great keep you off your device haha but Wifi is available:). I highly recommend this place and very comfortable beds ❤️

We had a great stay at the Tiny Away! Our host Glenn was very kind, accommodating and helpful! The check in was very easy and everything was as promised. The location is great, we started our beautiful hike directly from the doorstep. We only stayed one night, if we could have we would have stayed longer to enjoy the accommodation and the area!

We stayed here so that we could conveniently hike the Poukai Tarns track. The weather didn't cooperate too well, and we got soaked. So it was a real pleasure to be able to come back to Shaan's Airbnb! 😁 What a beautiful location, with comfortable furniture and a nice bathroom with lots of hot water for our family. Had the weather been better, we would have loved to use the hot-tub... Maybe some other time. I'd definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the area. 👍🏻

It's been a good time for the stay. Really cozy and clean unit, nice place, location is great, close to everything and quiet. Even my dog get a warm welcome, that's so cute. Very nice to meet Rose in person. Highly recommend

Fantastic spot - close to the coastal walkway and a short drive to the city. Absolutely loved that we could bring our dogs for our mini getaway!

Great stay! The host was super friendly and quick to reply. The place was clean, cozy, and just like the photos. It’s a bit out of town, but that’s what made it perfect for a quiet escape away from people. Would totally recommend if you’re after a chill, peaceful break! ☺️

Great location right at the start of the trail to walk up Mount Taranaki. A tiny cabin but perfect size for 2 people. Not completely rural like the pictures show and with another cabin and barn nearby, but still private and quiet.
