A perfect place to stay on our mother & daughter trip. It was safe and easy to get around for my mother in her 80s. The rooms and beds were cosy and clean. Alana really spoilt us with the most delicious slice on arrival including the recipe. We had breakfast goods supplied with our choice of milk, it was fabulous. Nick came down to help us with a couple of things we couldn’t start. I would highly recommend Alana & Nick as hosts, thanks heaps.

Great communication and fantastic instructions throughout our stay! Exceptional stay for a couple adult friends looking to relax and explore the Taranaki area. Clean and functional 2 bedroom layout with a cozy lounge/living room, with a great selection of utensils and other basics throughout. We made a great meal with the microwave and small electric griddle available. And of course - THE HOT TUB/SPA POOL! Nice fit for two and perfect for easing the travel and hiking aches, even in the chill of winter. The property and surroundings are quiet. There is a nice deck area with seating for the rental, looking over the bordering park in the back yard. It would be a great place to stay for any length of time. I had a sore knee when I visited, on top of widespread chronic pain. While there are irregular steps going down to the rental, and there is not always a handrail, the steps are flat and consistent, low height. A couple steps in the deck. I took my time, used a light, and was fine.

Excellent location very close to Fitzroy Beach and coastal path. Easy access to Fitzroy Village shops and cafés. Very spacious. Welcoming and generous hosts. Thanks for the feijoas!

Sandra was lovely, introduced herself which was sweet. Felt right at home, left towels out for us when we utilized the pool which was just blissful. The home was gorgeous, even prettier views. Thank you

I stayed at Alex's place with my husband and infant daughter for 10 days and it was fantastic! We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend to anyone. The home was incredibly clean and had everything we needed. It's a very close drive to the grocery store and laundromat as well. It is also very close to a gorgeous beach! Alex is a very kind and responsive host who made us feel welcomed instantly. We would stay again without hesitation.

Easy self check-in with great communication. The art house is clean, comfortable, well-equipped and peaceful. We recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully designed studio in central New Plymouth. The space was cozy, spotless, and filled with natural light, with stunning mountain views and peaceful birdsong from the deck. It had everything we needed—from a well-equipped kitchenette with a coffee machine and toastie maker to fast Wi-Fi, Netflix, and Sky TV. The location was unbeatable, just a short walk to the city centre, Pukekura Park, and the foreshore. Free parking was a great bonus, and the host was thoughtful and welcoming. We’d definitely love to stay here again!

Great place for a getaway, just outside of town and in the direction of many Taranaki Maunga sites. Diana was friendly and accommodating, will definitely consider staying again for our next Taranaki adventure.

Great spot for mum and I and my miniature dachshund! Clean, tidy and warm. Great enclosed outdoor space for the dog as well. Phil was easy to contact and responsive. Highly recommend. We would stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay in New Plymouth. Terry was super easy to communicate with- he met us out front when we arrived and showed us where to park, and responded super quick when we wanted to extend our stay by a night. Thanks Terry!

Janet’s place is beautiful and super recommended. The place is even better than in the photos. They are super friendly and hospitable, recommended us places to visit and let us use the washing machine and pick up some vegetables from the garden. The beds are super comfortable, the bathroom is big, we really enjoyed our stay.

I haven’t used Airbnb nearly as much as I used to a decade ago, but I remember all of the place I’ve stayed. I can confidently say Grant and Tracey’s place was one of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at! All I wanted was peace, quiet, nature, and good WiFi haha and everything exceeded my expectations. I didn’t want to leave their little slice of heaven! They were extremely friendly, helpful, kind, and had very good communication. Usually I like to stick to myself whenever I rent but I was more than happy to chat with them and be shown around the property and introduced to all the animals! I felt so filled from the moment I arrived until I left. I WILL be staying here again! Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise!

Joelene’s apartment is great, very clean and tidy. The location is close to the beach and city centre. Easy to find. Joelene recommended cafe’s and restaurants along with other places of interest. Highly recommend this apartment.
