Cabin vacation rentals in New Germany

We LOVED absolutely LOVED our stay at Beth’s cabin. It is was clean, organized, and neat. It is nestled towards the end of the street- next to some very quiet neighbors- which I appreciated! It was very private and secluded! Everything worked- everything was nice and new and fresh! It honestly did feel right at home! The hot tub is AMAZING- clean, functioning, so fun for the kids and to relax. The view is priceless- The location is amazing- we heard loons, we saw a turtle nest her eggs, we had a heron walk on our dock. We had a wonderful lunch in Annandale (In Hot Water) Maple Lake (Spooky House Coffee) and Buffalo (Gather). Overall a great stay!

The Indian Lake Chalet is sublime!! The perfect place for a relaxing or active family trip—we did lots of both! The house is super clean and perfectly appointed. It was comfortable and spacious for our multigenerational group of 11. We’d very happily stay here again!

I highly suggest this place. there is just so much to do. I personally really enjoyed the hot tub and fishing that this place offered!

Great location not to far from the twin cities. It was great that there were kayaks and a canoe there for us to use free of charge. Also, there were instructions for using all of the necessities in the home, like the hot tub, fireplace, etc. Thanks for a great, relaxing weekend!

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous! The outdoor space alone was worth every dollar we paid. The interior offered many different sleeping options, none of which felt cramped or out of place for our larger group. There is a store that is a walkable distance away, which made it easy to pick up a few last minute items. Michaela was responsive when we had questions and check in/check out was a breeze. I will absolutely be coming back!

Warren was attentive and helpful. The cabin is quaint and comfortable. Very happy dogs were allowed without massive fees like many other places. Rustic is a good description as it has some updates but definitely in the older side but still very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

We spent the weekend at Luke’s house on Eagle Lake and had a great time. There were plenty of beds for the 5 of us and we enjoyed the dock, outdoor shower, and the views from the living room. Kitchen came stocked with the items listed and Luke was great about reaching out and offering help with anything.

This lakeside cabin was a breath of fresh air! Enjoyed staying here with my two pups after crossing the country to play in a stressful golf tournament. The beautifully updated & well appointed space made me feel right at home and put me in a great state of mind for golfing. Rained during my stay but look forward to using the kayaks graciously provided during next stay. Thanks Dustin!

This cottage was the perfect getaway. Looks just like the pictures- so peaceful and pretty. We had a blast!

The place was nice and clean. They had plenty on activities for a family to do. The lake was beautiful, easy to use a kayak or paddle board. There wasn’t a good pan to use to prepare eggs. We enjoyed the time there and will recommend this place to our friends.

If you're looking for the "perfect" resort with no imperfections...this is NOT the place for you. But...if you're looking for someplace that has just the right balance of low key summer camp meets comfy creature comfort filled cabins that have a BEAUTIFUL view of Lake Augusta...then this IS the place. Max's cabin was perfect for us ( my husband and I) along with two dogs, crates and gear. Loved the loft sleeping space, and the bed on the main level looks directly out onto the lake. You can't beat it. And clean...SO clean! Felt like we were the first guests. Oh...I did not think to bring a hair dryer...because really do you need it at "camp." but some extras like that may not be included so be sure to take a full list of the amenities. Oh! We hit Octoberfest at the local Spilled Grain Brewery! Tons on Tap! And the Tin Roof Candle Company in town also my favorite!! All locally poured! Would 100% recommend all of the above!

Cute and cozy cabin with incredible views! When weather cooperated, we had a blast soaking up the sun, swimming and playing on the beach and fishing off the dock. The outside area is just perfect for all kinds of water activities with plenty of space for littles to run around. Our kids spent hours exploring in the sand and enjoying the lake. The beach area was truly perfect for play or simply enjoying the gorgeous views and wild life. The fire pit was also a nice touch and right near the water. Next door neighbors were so friendly and brought us some materials to help get the fire going. We didn’t get much of a chance to use the bunker house but this was also a really fun space and a great addition. On rainy days we enjoyed exploring downtown Annandale, which turned out to be such a cute little town with several fun shops and restaurants. Overall we had a great stay, despite weather not always being in our favor. We will definitely be returning!

Great stay, loved the location. Was not expecting the requested level of cleaning after our stay... usually that's something the owners and a cleaning service take care of. However, that's our only (minimal) complaint!

Our children, grandchildren and us had a great time! The lake, game room, yard, and comfy house had many so many choices! We loved the vintage barns and house with so many amenities! Ted also answered quickly if I had a question.

great place for a nice getaway

This was our 2nd year staying here. The fishing was great from the boat and on the dock. We love the big deck for relaxing outside. The house is stocked with everything you need. Thank you for hosting us again.

Really amazing stay at a rustic and sweet spot on a lake. Sun room is out of this world, it’s on an amazing lot on the lake, and between sauna, paddle boards, fire pit, and just taking it all in we had an amazing time. 10/10, Great Lake get away, hosts are doing great.

My second time staying here. Last time was a year ago. Improvements were made over the last year and the place was kept in great condition.
