Great place and location for a group base to explore the Hunter valley. Relaxing and easy to stay. Good amenities and well appointed house.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Barefoot at Broke over the long weekend. The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable and felt extremely spacious for the 5 of us, plus our family dog. Located in Broke, the property feels private and secluded, yet only a short drive away from some amazing wineries. Steve and Jen were also very responsive hosts, answering all our questions promptly and providing clear instructions for check in/ out. We would highly recommend Barefoot at Broke for a small group getaway - we had an amazing time!

Our stay was simply PERFECT. Lynn is a super host, and the property was so well equiped. I stayed there for a much needed girls night, and we were all amazed at how well stocked the house was and how beautifully renovated and clean. And to top it all off a gorgeous enclosed back garden for my fur baby. We will definitely be back 🙌

We had such an amazing time at this beautiful home. From the moment we booked, communication with the host was excellent—clear, timely, and helpful throughout our entire stay. The house itself was stunning: clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly relaxing with breathtaking views. The amenities were top-notch and made everything feel so easy and comfortable. Our whole family—including the dogs—had the best time. It truly felt like a getaway where everyone could unwind and enjoy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are already planning our next visit. Could not recommend this place enough!

Our family of eight adults enjoyed our weekend in Pokolbin. We enjoyed the view to the mountains from the balcony and the large yard with three rustic chipping greens to practice our golf. The house was spacious and the ducted air-conditioning provided warmth during some cold winter weather. The BBQ are was also excellent. The property is walking distance to a few cellar doors and a nearby restaurant provided a free shuttle service for convenience. Melissa was a wonderful host and made every effort to ensure we had an enjoyable stay.

my friends and i had an amazing weekend stay here. the location was very convenient and everything was just as pictured. we loved the extra long table which was able to seat everyone as well as the cosy fireplace - perfect for a cold night. courtney and jade were also very responsive and friendly in our correspondences. would definitely come back here whenever we visit the area!

Such a great and central location to Shoal Bay. The home was perfect for our stay and had everything we needed.

This is the second time we’ve visited Paul’s place and hopefully they’ll be another. It’s a quintessential Australian coast house, full of character and warmth. The beach is across the road and you fall asleep with the sound of the ocean. Heaven! Great back yard, everything you need and Paul is a 10 out of 10 host!

The group and I really enjoyed the stay, the host was very responsive and flexible with our needs and requests. We felt warm and welcome when we checked in, they even gave us a bottle of wine! We also enjoyed the game room and the kitchen facility. Highly recommended staying at this property next time you go to Hunter.

settled in australian native tree surroundings. small creek at the bottom of the yard. frogs croaking at night. nice and quiet. the sleeping and lounge room were larger than what the photos showed. went their for work. was great to come back and have total quiet. will be staying again.

Gorgeous property with ample room and beds to cater to our group. Hosts were always on hand for any additional questions. Property had a gorgeous fireplace which was just lovely to cosy around in the evening with a glass of wine. Looking forward to staying again!

This lakeside home is the perfect getaway for large family gatherings for all ages! The pool was AMAZING, the pool table was used constantly, the kitchen was well stocked and the 3 main bedrooms has the most incredible views. The beds were all very comfortable, and there were multiple TVs to suit everyone. The bathrooms were spacious and modern. The views were stunning across the lake, especially at sunset. our family of 13 had a very special and memorable stay. Justin's videos were very helpful and his communication was excellent.

Rhonda' s house was perfect for our extended family stay while we attended a family wedding in the Hunter Valley. very spacious house and plenty of room to spread out or share space together. it was very clean and well appointed. The EV car charger was helpful addition for one of our cars overnight as well. The spa was a nice addition for an evening relaxation after a 9 hour drive.

Our extended family had a wonderful long weekend at Windmill Lodge. There is lots of space and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for large groups. We also made use of the wood fire for pizza and the extra large paella pan. Lots of lounges and seating and a big long dining table perfect for large groups. Tanya was very helpful is setting up extra beds as we required and we felt very at home.

we stayed at Villa Nessa for a bucks weekend with 14 guys, and it was absolutely perfect. The house was immaculate, spacious, and felt more like a home than a rental. There were plenty of comfortable beds, large living areas, and a fully equipped kitchen that made group meals easy. The spa was a standout feature—hot, clean, and ideal for relaxing after a long day. The location was quiet and peaceful, yet still close to everything we needed. Although we didn’t meet Vanessa in person, she was an exceptional host. Her communication was prompt, polite, and super helpful from start to finish. She made everything smooth and stress-free, even with a large group. It’s clear she puts a lot of care into making the home welcoming and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our mate’s upcoming wedding. Highly recommended to any group looking for a clean, relaxing, and well-managed stay. Would definitely return to Villa Nessa

We had a wonderful stay at Cranky Rock! The cottage was gorgeous, cozy and peaceful - exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend escape from Sydney. The fresh eggs, bread & milk were such a thoughtful touch and made us feel right at home. A big thank you to Lindsay & Pam for being such gracious hosts & making us feel so welcome. Highly recommend - we’ll definitely be back!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Berry House. Glenn was a top host, very friendly and charming. He was on top of all communications and always had the right answer. The house was great. The indoor fire was v enjoyable and everything we needed was there. Generous supply of coffee pods, firewood kept us v comfortable. The sauna was much enjoyed though the pool was too cold.. I’m sure it would be a treat in summer. The dogs, Willow and Esther, were one of the highlights for our two boys. They had a great time. The highlight for the adults was the huge outdoor fire pit. Very special for a pre and post dinner chat.

Fabulous eclectic beach style house. Great size, and easily accommodates number of guests specified. Relaxing, peaceful courtyard area. Exceptionally clean throughout. It’s an easy 20 minute walking distance to Fingal Bay or Shoal Bay beaches either direction, with Box Beach close by too. Nelson Bay is 5 minute drive for Woollies. We really enjoyed our long weekend and had a wonderful relaxing time. Will definitely book again

This house was perfect for 3 families! It had everything we needed and so much space for us all. Would definitely stay here again!!!!

My partner and I stayed in Cadair Cottage 1 and we really really enjoyed our short time here. We were only here for a couple of nights but would have loved to extend our trip. There is so much to like about this place. Firstly, the surroundings are just absolutely beautiful - you are in nature and if you’re coming from a city landscape you’ll switch off so quickly. The cottage itself was spotless and had such a homely feel. All of the amenities you’d need with a fireplace, stove top, wifi, tv with foxtel and streaming - beautiful bedrooms and comfortable linen. The hot tub is also so nice to relax in and watch the sun come down. The yard (which is fully fenced) offers an expansive play area for your furry friends and our girl Peppa absolutely loved her time here too. She had so much fun. You are visited by neighbouring sheep and cows and it’s truly magical to watch them graze and trail by. Thank you, Simone - we can’t wait to return to this beautiful property again.

Had a wonderful stay at Salty over the long weekend with my partner and our furbaby. The flat was spotless and had everything we needed to cook meals including coffee, tea, fresh milk, bread, butter and jam that Ella kindly left for us. The real treat is the jacuzzi with the ambient fairy lights. We were lucky with no rain at all so it was an incredible experience to relax in the hot tub whilst gazing at the night sky during these colder months. If you're bringing your dog, the flat is also located just down the road from Forresters Beach which is the biggest off-leash dog beach we've ever visited! Our dog absolutely loved running around freely. Would 100% stay here again if we come back to visit the Central Coast, highly recommend 🫶

We stayed at Marguerite and Michael’s place on our way to Nelson Bay, and what a cozy spot it was! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Marguerite and Michael were wonderful hosts - truly lovely people. A special thanks to Marguerite for the delicious homemade brownies, such a thoughtful touch! We absolutely recommend staying here and would love to come back.
