Our cabins are off grid, located one mile east of El Morro National Monument, on highway 53 along the beautiful and historic Ancient Way Trail. This walk-in cabin has one queen size bed and a cot for a guest, with a desk for writing and table for preparing food. We have a water catchment system for washing. Drinking water provided. A private outdoor solar shower and portable toilet, for your own use, are steps away from the cabin. Beautiful views of Bond Mesa and Zuni Mountains from your porch.

Charming home with lots of light

100 year old home. Very peaceful in a quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to food and coffee. The house is very bright with hardwood floors. The home has a washer and dryer in the basement. We will consider dogs on a case by case basis. The kitchen has everything needed to cook meals (no spices). WE DO NOT ALLOW LOCAL RESIDENCE AS THIS IS NOT TO BE USED FOR PARTIES OR ANY TYPE OF EVENTS OR LOCAL DAY USEAGE. THE HOME HAS OUTDOOR SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS.

Kc is an awesome host! He made sure I had everything I needed and even went out of his way to make sure I was all set knowing I would be getting in late and working the very next day. The room is quiet and accommodating. Sharing a bathroom wasn’t great for me but that’s a personal preference. The house is very close to everything! Walmart and Starbucks are 5 mins down the road. Kc gives you local musts to check out. He responded within minutes of any questions I had. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a very enjoyable time at the Airbnb. The Airbnb is by our standards a bit unusual since it is "off the grid". We have never stayed in a place "off the grid" and it was a pleasant surprise. The casita was very comfortable and rustic. The large, covered porch made for very nice mornings and evenings. The Airbnb had everything we needed (stove, cooking utensils, and a sink that uses captured rainwater!). The lack of electricity was not problem (we brought a cooler for our food and head lamps for reading). It was a great stay. The stars at night were ....ummm... stunning. Also, our hosts were very attentive and made sure that everything was OK.

I recommend this place to anyone traveling with pets. I don’t normally choose to do a hotel with my pets, which is why I booked through Airbnb, however this hotel was extremely pet friendly. I do recommending reading looking at the photos and its location before booking. This hotel is right off I40 which was extremely convenient for my family. We used DoorDash to get us dinner so being near restaurants wasn’t a concern of ours. I was hesitant when reading reviews but this place is exactly as advertised. I was pleasantly surprise at its cleanliness (it is pet friendly, however has no smell of pet)! My shower was peeling and needed to be refinished but who really takes baths at a hotel lol, it was clean and the shower felt great. The beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was minimal but good! My only critic (which I believe is getting fixed) is the pet fee. For my specific situation I booked 2 guest and 2 pets, but was charged additionally for 1 pet upon check in. It was $15 extra
