Cabin vacation rentals in Motala

We enjoyed our stay at Kathy’s converted barn. It is in a very convenient location, just off the main road down a small lane, at the end of which is a petrol station and supermarket. It is only a short stroll into the pretty centre where you can find historical sights of interest, pretty streets , independent shops and a variety of restaurants. Kathy has taken great care in ensuring the barn is comfortable and clean, ensuring her guests have all they will need for their stay. The bed is comfortable and she provides good quality linens and towels. The hot tub was immaculate and a real treat, as was the cava and chocolates that were part of our welcome package. Kathy’s attention to detail makes this accommodation stand apart from others. Thank you Kathy.

Nox is a very good host, very nice, reactive and super helpful! The cabin is really cute, greatly located to explore Tivedens National Park and with very nice equipments (hot tub, sauna), perfect after hiking!

Cozy cottage that has everything you need except TV, but that was stated in the listing.

The gas bottle for the grill was empty, but it was resolved by us going to a gas station and buying one and the host paid for it, so it was okay. Guess it was the guests before us who ran out of gas without notifying the host.

We felt very comfortable with Annika. The house was really fantastic. The apartment was clean and cozy. Undenäs is really very quiet and perfect for hikers and dog owners. We will be happy to come back :-)

We were very kindly welcomed by Hans-Olov. A clear explanation was given about the house and accessories. It is a super cozy cottage in a beautiful setting. The bed was comfortable and we loved the jacuzzi. We stayed here for two nights, but as far as we are concerned, it could have been two weeks. Hans-Olov, thank you for the hospitality. We loved the beauty and peace , particularly wonderful was the use of the rowing boat and swimming in the lake

The location of the accommodation is gigantic...the view over the Vätternsee unique. The house is in complete secluded locations, a café run by the owner of the apartment 300 meters away. Wonderful for a fika. The house is lovingly decorated, has Bullerbü character!The kitchen has everything you need to cook deliciously and on top of that the view. We enjoyed our time very much and will hopefully come back, definitely recommend to friends!!

The peaceful lake views and morning birdsong made our stay truly unforgettable. We especially loved exploring the Tiveden national park — the trails were wild and beautiful. Christina was welcoming, responsive, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. This place is a perfect mix of comfort, nature, and quiet moments. We’re grateful for the memories and already hoping to return!

We had the most wonderful time at Sarah’s beautiful house, the location was so peaceful. The house is very clean and has everything you need to relax and enjoy cooking and we had a BBQ outside as well. We enjoyed swimming at the lake by Valö Café and Sarah arranged for us to visit the farm next door to get some homemade jam, apple juice and some eggs from the chickens. I would highly recommend staying here, thanks Sarah!

A fantastic nice place, beautiful cabin and a very pleasant hostess. Thank you for a wonderful stay in a lovingly and thoughtfully furnished cottage, where we lacked nothing. We had the perfect Sweden feeling. The animals right outside the front door, such as calves, sheep and chickens, complemented the rural coziness very well. The hosts were always available and helped immediately with any questions! We totally enjoyed it.

Super communication, very straightforward. House is the last house on the street to the lake with a very nice entrance. We felt completely comfortable.

A beautiful lovingly furnished cottage in the middle of the most beautiful nature - we would have preferred to stay there. You can only feel comfortable and Sara was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! We will be happy to come back.

What a beautiful location! When we arrived I just got tears in my eyes from how beautiful, quiet, serene it is (first time Sweden). The cottage is full of comforts and is a very nice and bright house. Also from inside you have a beautiful view of the surroundings. We even had 2x visits from a deer. Starting the morning at the lake, enjoying the views is magical. Nearby beautiful walks to take. Please note the sign! All in all: I definitely recommend this accommodation!

In short, we felt very welcome. The view is awesome. Unfortunately, we had 1 rainy day but could then entertain ourselves with TV incl.chromecast. This address is absolutely recommended.
