The peaceful lake views and morning birdsong made our stay truly unforgettable. We especially loved exploring the Tiveden national park — the trails were wild and beautiful. Christina was welcoming, responsive, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. This place is a perfect mix of comfort, nature, and quiet moments. We’re grateful for the memories and already hoping to return!

Pia is a very nice, open, helpful person. The plot is super nice and the lake has very clear water. We are already thinking about booking our next holiday there.

Really beautiful house and yard. A perfect place for a family with children to relax and spend time. Lovely to go swimming. Carl-Johan is very friendly and helpful. The first time, we'll book a longer stay. Easy to spend the day in Kolmården, a short drive.

We spent almost two weeks in Alvasjö with a family of 8. The place is nothing less than magic. A lovely house, renovated just the way it should be, leaving the historic parts and gently adding modern needs. Sara and Ed were really helpful, always there when needed and very easy to contact. Excellent communication. The area is beautiful, went canoeing, rowing, fishing, mountainbiking, SUP, hiking, Sauna ob the lake, mushroom and blueberry picking. It was not „just another holiday“, it was more than what we all dreamed of when it comes to „holiday in Sweden“. Will certainly come back, a must go when you want to experience a comfortable and exciting holiday in the middle of wonderful swedish nature. Many many thanks for everything, Sara and Ed!

We had a lovely stay at your beautiful cozy cottage ! Thank you for being so welcoming and we loved being loved by the cats and bunnies and the cutest calves too! The Raps fields looking over the magical blue of the lake were the highlight of every morning ! And then the flowers and fields! We are almost happy to have had the opportunity to stay in this little yellow cottage

Super nice spot to stay for a couple of days. The hosts were lovely and accomodating.

Wonderful place! Great view from the balcony. Although the lake is partially visible, it was great sitting in the window paned balcony and enjoy some evening drinks. The gas grill was very convenient, the wood fired Sauna was very enjoyable! And about a minute to the lake! The home was beautifully decorated, and very cozy!

Staying in Alexander's house was a real experience. It was wonderful to enjoy the peace, the view, the swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and the boat trip to the island. Alexander gave us the good tip to watch the sunset, worth it! As the icing on the cake, we also saw the northern lights. The accommodation was spacious, cozy and very homely. In short, we would have liked to stay longer.

Very nice stay with two families in the comfortable and cozily furnished house of Sandra and Peter. There is more than enough space for 10 people. Our children also had a great time and there were plenty of opportunities for them to enjoy themselves in and around the house. The lake with beach is a few meters away. In addition, the nearby cute village of Gränna and the historic island of Visingsö were nice to visit and you can enjoy hiking in the wooded area. In short, very nice holiday and we thank Sandra and Peter for the hospitality!

This was our third summer spending a week at this lovely cabin. The location is wonderful and great for families. Highly recommend!

We, a family with both young/children and elderly, had great days in the large house with generous social areas, comfortable beds/bedrooms and all the equipment we expected. Nature was close and we had several evenings with amazing sunsets.

We had great time. The place is even better in reality! Amazing view with lake in front. We will surely come back! Easy to find the place. Martin was responsive and flexible with check out.

We felt very comfortable in Kristina's house. The surroundings are simply beautiful. You can go hiking very well, especially with two dogs, or simply spend time in the house with the fireplace or the sauna by the lake. Many thanks for the wonderful time

It is a lovely place where you really can slow down and enjoy the quiet and beautiful nature. The cabin is cozy and it is just perfect to be able to use the canoes. Leif was very welcoming.

Beautiful location, modern house, clean and tastefully furnished.

An old wonderful stuga in the middle of a private valley, with pure nature and a nice park-like garden, a mixture of trimmed and wild-pristine. The owner lives in a central house, 200 meters away, there is another stuga between our house an the owners house which is for rent too. The house has a bedroom in the 1. floor with a double bed and a wooden oven, on the 1. floor there is a large hallway after the stairways from the ground floor to the 1. floor with two side beds. On the ground floor is a small childrens room with two beds. The kitchen is great, also a cosy parlor. Around the house are many berry bushes, we were invited to eat. The close lake is wonderful, no people or houses, but 3 big futuristic wind turbines. There is a nice place to rest and swim; a small very good wooden-heated sauna, between sauna eat blueberries an swim. Also there is a boat an a canoe to use, it needs to be coordinated with the owner and the other guests. Tonie and Anders are wonderful & approachable.
