We had a wonderful time in the former hunting lodge. It is located in the middle of the idyllic nature of a mountain valley, within walking distance of a clear swimming lake and directly on a flower meadow and on the edge of the forest. The terrace offers sun from morning to evening and is ideal to start the day with a nice breakfast in nature, or to end the evening at sunset. From the house you can take many hikes - to various peaks or along the valley and to the Wörschachklamm. The house itself offers plenty of space for 6-8 adults, is dry, clean and cozy. The host is friendly, helpful and always responds very quickly. So if you are looking for accommodation for a hiking vacation in the middle of nature, this is the perfect place to be 😊

The accommodation was as described and we all (eight people) enjoyed it very much. The view is very nice because the house is built on the mountainside. The sauna worked wonderfully and can accommodate two people. Otherwise, there is plenty of storage space available for groceries and other things. Unfortunately, there is no extra freezer, but if the fridge is set cold enough, then frozen can be stored at the very bottom. Thank you and see you next time.

Super nice place in a very quiet location. Everything is available and easy to find. Lots of space in the accommodation, we were there with 10 people and had plenty of space.

The place was nice, cozy and clean. Very quiet and private. Had everything we needed for our stay, close to the shops, ski slopes. The only thing I would say is if you are traveling with kids having a car is much easier than walking and relying on public transport

We felt very comfortable. Had six adults, great space. Large table in the kitchen-living room. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the spacious, beautiful garden due to rain. Communication with Edith was straightforward!

Martin was a great host. The place was fantastic. If you are looking for an active vacation spot with lots of this to do including hiking and biking in breath taking scenery than I highly recommend this place.

Angelika is the best host I've ever seen! She's sweet, kind, and pleasant! We've enjoyed our stay in her place, as it was wonderful. The view from our bedroom was fantastic - you look in the window and see the Austrian Alps. The place was neatly clean and styled to details. This house has exceeded our expectations! A super cozy house in a beautiful location on the edge of the small village of Karlstift. The furnishings are very complete without a lot of unnecessary stuff. We did not see the landlords in person, but communication via app and phone went smoothly. The ski lift is really right in front of the house, unfortunately there was no snow - which was not so bad as there were not too far away slopes with artificial snow.

We enjoyed our stay in Hohentauern. In summer, these houses are not occupied, so it was quiet in the neighbourhood. The house itself was well equipped with everything that is needed regarding kitchen en houseware. The car park is short distance, which is convenient. Claudia responds fast to our requests. She took quick action when the water heater didn't work anymore. It was repaired the day after.

We had a great stay, the cabin was beautiful as expected and the location is perfect, with a really fantastic view. Our host was very very friendly and accommodating. Clear recommendation from us! 😊

The cabin is as described, the path is a small challenge with a "normal" car. But it's not surprising with a remote cabin. We felt comfortable and can recommend the hut and Reinhard as a host!

We enjoyed our vacation at Pyrbaumer Hütt'n in Hohentauern to the fullest! The cabin offered us everything our heart desires. The surroundings invite you to great hikes and activities in nature - and even in bad weather we were able to make ourselves comfortable in the sauna. Really a great vacation - we'll be back!
