Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Meramec River

The house was absolutely lovely! Kellie was wonderful, and very responsive. Checked out and met the cleaning who was very nice and friendly as well! 100/10 recommend The Jewel!

This was a beautiful space, It was very private and peaceful inside the space, and the hot tub was very relaxing. There is a fire pit that made the ambiance relaxing. My family from out of town and I will definitely look this place up when in the area.

Bridget’s home was a perfect place for us to stay with our dog as we visited friends in the St. Louis suburbs. The fenced in back yard and deck was great and the beds were very comfortable. Definitely recommend!

Amazing, relaxing stay! Great location, not too far from town but far enough that you feel like you’re getting away. Easy to get there as long as you listen to their driving instructions there, which they proactively sent along with photos. The property and lake is huge, and so beautiful. The photos don’t do it justice. All the animals are so friendly, we loved having a tour of the property with Cathy and feeding all her animals and hanging out with the barn cats. The hot tub was a HUGE plus since the weather wasn’t cooperative enough for the pool. Lots of thoughtful touches like fans in every room and a stocked seasoning cabinet. They were very responsive and available if we needed anything but not too overbearing. Would love to come back again. 10/10!!!

Sara and Jim are wonderful hosts. They had great recommendations- We loved The Shaved Duck. The battery on the lock needed to be replaced when we got there, Jim fixed it right away. The apartment was very cute, clean and spacious. Overall, the apartment is perfect for a family and was a great home base in St. Louis.

I really appreciated staying at Floyd's place. It was cute and comfortable. The only surprise was the layout - the second bedroom was only accessible via the first bedroom. It was very hard to find a place with a bedroom that had 2 single beds and this definitely fit the bill. But Floyd was very accommodating and responsive when we needed the heat turned up he did it right away. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was exactly as described in photos , very clean , cozy , & quiet and walkable to most amenities needed . If given the opportunity i would definitely stay here again

Absolutely loved staying at the Pickle & Perk Mountainview suite! It was clean, comfy with fun mountain-themed decor. Make sure to check out Pickle & Perk for really good coffee and sweets, a game of pickleball and the cute shop in the back! Also, Steph & Dave were excellent hosts but all around kind and generous people!!!

Pam had been a great host over the last few years. Her home has been my launching pad while visiting my son, who lives right around the corner. He’s moving to VA so we won’t be back, although my partner said he would come back for the breakfast sandwiches at Espresso Yourself - haha. Thanks Pam. Your home is beautiful and convenient. It has that old world, Victorian charm - solid oak doors and trim, stained glass windows, and hardwood floors, along with the modern amenities you need! Donna

This place was wonderful! Very peaceful in a nice area. Property was very clean and thought out. Host did a great job of suppling amenities. We even caught some fish from their pond!! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway, but still close enough to see the local attractions.

My fiancé and I enjoyed staying at the cabin. It was nice to be staying in a cabin and having a little get away while visiting family in Waterloo. Rika responded very quickly and is very communicative which I love that. Overall, we love it and will want to come back and stay at the cabin when visiting family.

My family (My wife, I, and three children ages 1-6) had a great relaxing time. The trail up to the ridge was enjoyed immensely as we hiked up there several times with all the kids and my boys enjoyed exploring in the woods. The fire pit was great as well.

We loved our stay at the cabin! The cabin felt like home. We loved the closeness to STL but also being able to feel secluded at the Airbnb. Would highly recommend!

My daughter and I just needed some peace and quiet and that's exactly what we got. The cabin was so nice altho we spent most of out time on the deck overlooking the water and wooded area. Lots of great places to eat. We traveled the few miles to Cuba, Mo to eat, go to Walmart, and go to the antique malls. There is a nice little place to eat in Leasburg called Skippy's and the food is great and staff so friendly. There is also a Dollar Market in Leasburg that has anything you might need. We stayed a week but could have stayed there forever!! We would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to just get away and decompress.

Jeff provided a peaceful, clean, and comfortable space to retreat to for a couple days. We felt right at home! We appreciated Jeff’s kindness and great communication.

All of us that stayed at the house really enjoyed the area and the how peaceful it was there. It was nice to go to our reunion and have a nice peaceful place to return to. Would recommend this home to anyone.
