Monthly Rentals in Mårdaklev

We spent our Easter break at Steffi’s beautiful home, and it truly felt like a piece of Swedish heaven. The house is a private retreat surrounded by peaceful woods and birdsong, with a serene lake just a short walk away. The home itself is decorated with lots of love and taste — it’s well maintained and equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was spotless when we arrived, and Steffi provided a clear and thoughtful manual that made settling in simple and the check-out stress-free. We spent our days listening to birds from the terrace, relaxing in the cozy armchairs by the fireplace, and even braved a (very!) refreshing April-dip in the lake. Thankfully, we could warm up afterward in the spacious sauna, which was a real treat. Steffi was the perfect host: kind, responsive, and incredibly generous in sharing everything the house has to offer. We felt at home immediately. We can HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Sweden. Thank you!!

Wonderful location and a fairy tale little Swedish cottage. All amenities are on site and Jolita is super responsive and friendly. We used the rowing boat down by the river and caught 4 pikes :-) One tip for future guests: Caution is advised if you're taller than 1m70 Mind your head in the house ;-)

Everything was perfect!

Charlotte and Jan's house is extremely nice and cozy. They are very nice and friendly. It is privately located in a beautiful forest. There are cozy terraces and a fire pit. Time and soul have been put into making the interior design delicious and cozy. Everything is very clean and tidy. The beds are made, towels are laid out, welcome bubbles and chocolate. Huge and beautiful bathroom.... Don't forget to swim in the lake 😉 We'd love to come again.
