Duffield home in beautiful setting

You’ll love my place because it’s 5 mins walk to the centre of Duffield with its pubs & shops & 10 min train or bus into Derby or Matlock. A 30 min drive to Ashbourne & Wirksworth. The house is being renovated so is a little hectic but these rooms are in a separate annex & although not perfect are comfy. Its good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families &pets. We have a dog, cat & children & welcome those with or without.

I stayed for 3 days, and everything was perfect. The place was spotless, incredibly well-organized, and had everything I needed—down to the smallest details. I never once felt confused, disturbed, or uncomfortable. It felt exactly like home—peaceful, private, and comforting. The cleanliness was outstanding, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I didn’t face a single issue during my stay, and that kind of smooth, peaceful experience is rare. I felt safe, calm, and completely at ease. By far one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in. Made my best friend’s 25th birthday unbelievable. Super private and relaxing , beds were exceptionally comfortable, large and spacious home with absolutely everything we needed even a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge! The terrace was a great space to enjoy time in the sun! Games room was a lot of laughs. The hosts were so lovely and there’s genuinely not a bad thing anyone who stayed could say about the place! A true 10/10 experience will recommend to others, and 100% will return again!

We stayed at Brookhouse Cottage whilst attending Download Festival and for us it was the perfect home from home. Location was brilliant for what we needed and gave us the comfortable, quiet nights we needed after the long days! Daniel and Mel were very helpful every step of the way with location and anything else we needed to know about the property and our stay. The house was clean and the facilities were perfect. The house looked just as the photos did and felt very welcoming. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, it’s definitely a place we hope to stay at again!
