Little Square Farmhouse + Pottery Studio

This charming, country 1926 farmhouse sits atop rolling country fields just outside the village of Maiden Rock, and just a few miles to Stockholm, Pepin, & Red Wing, Mn. This farmhouse was purchased by the host's parents in 1987. While being raised here with 8 siblings, this home felt very small. This second story walk up is located above a local bar and grill, and within walking distance to gas/convenience store and other small shops. We have many attractions to the area including, trout fishing, eagle watching, sailing, ice fishing, wedding venues, motorcycle trips, wineries and diverse shops and businesses along the Great River Road. Milkhouse Cottage was rebuilt from the original Milkhouse built on our farm in 1906. Nestled in a peaceful valley across the road from the Rush River. Amenities include one queen bed, 1 queen sized comfortable queen sofa bed, air conditioning, private deck, private fire pit & 38 acres of private hiking trails and snowshowing trails. We also have a very nice campertrailer with 1 full sized bed, 1 queen sized bed. 2 bunks and bath that is avialable seasonaly.
