If I could give 6 stars, I would! Staying at Diosa Jaguar was an unforgettable experience—relaxing, peaceful, and deeply connected to nature. The cabana is simple, rustic, and basic—exactly as advertised and even better in person. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. Ramon was an incredibly helpful and kind host, always available for anything we needed while also giving us space to enjoy the tranquility of the place. The energy here is so warm and welcoming, with wonderful people around who make you feel at home. The location is unbeatable—just a 3-minute walk to a beautiful river for swimming and relaxing, and only a 5-minute walk to the entrance of Tayrona Park. There are also some really interesting hiking trails nearby if you’re up for exploring. If I’m ever back in the area, there’s no question—I’ll be returning to Diosa Jaguar. Highly recommend to anyone looking to disconnect, unwind, and experience the natural beauty of this magical spot.

Our stay at Gecko was wonderful, an amazing place to rest and disconnect. It's also close enough to the hostels to share in other environments, but not close enough to be interrupted by the noise of the music if you don't want to party. Irene's service was amazing, very friendly and warm.

Had a fantastic stay at Luis’s place. Beautiful apartment to stay over carnival - clean bright and in a good and safe location! Luis went above and beyond as a host, always responsive and gave us to many recommendations for Barranquilla. We arrived early into Barranquilla and even let us leave our bags at his place so we could enjoy the parade before check in. Couldn’t recommend more!

Adriana is an excellent host. It was nice chatting with her as she made our breakfast in the morning. We had a great view from our balcony. The only thing to note is that you have to walk along a curvy road with no sidewalk to go to the beach.
