Monthly Rentals in Lower Bogue

Beautiful and peaceful location. Close to some restaurants. It was larger than I anticipated. Benjamin and Wendy were great hosts.

Our family really enjoyed our stay! The hosts thought of everything a vacationer might need and had it readily available. Best stocked kitchen I’ve ever rented. Loved being able to walk around town.

We stayed at Slow & Easy for the weekend and wish we could've extended our trip. It was such a peaceful and relaxing experience and the cottage with the beautiful view was just perfect in every way. It was super quiet and secluded, and you definitely need to rent a car (we used Hello Car Rentals - we found that they had the best prices and they also left the car directly at the airport for us so there was no need to pay the extra fees for a taxi and car delivery. When we were leaving we just left the car at the airport so the process was super simple). We also did an excursion with James which was such an amazing experience - he is truly the best and we definitely recommend reaching out to him and getting a tour of Eleuthera from the water. He tailored the tour around what we wanted to see which was great. Overall, we would definitely recommend Slow & Easy and we can't wait to come back.

If there were a Place & Host Hall of Fame, Mike & Val & their AirBNB would be first-ballot inductees. Mike was responsive, helpful, accommodating, friendly and gave excellent instructions. The place is a rare gem. Maybe the best compliment I can give: we parked in the driveway and our car didn't move again for four straight days until our flight back. We cancelled dinner reservations and didn't venture out once (well, except for the beach-side boat pickup to go fishing w Capt. James!). The place was THAT peaceful and beautiful. Well appointed (who else has YETI tumblers in the cupboards!?). Perfect toys (paddle board, snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrella). Nice design touches (comfy bed, cool towels, counters were beautiful, gas stove was ideal, etc.). My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary there. She said, "If you want a 31st anniversary, you'd better bring me back here!" OK, she didn't say that (out loud), but I know she was thinking it! THANK YOU Mike and Val! :-)
