Nice small cabin aside of the main house. Equipped with enough blankets and heaters, still quite cold if to not use sauna / fireplace if you are out for a day. There is a guide for everything you might need, and as a bonus you can meet a great friendly host’s dog (though still ask if it is okay to pet it) :)

Niki is an excellent host, she simply takes care of EVERYTHING. The apartment is super clean, you have a fantastic view from the balcony, where there is a sofa and you can drink your morning coffee there wonderfully. We wait every day to swim in the lake, just wonderful. The stop is right outside the front door from where you can easily get to Helsinki. We felt very comfortable in the apartment and would love to come back again. The quiet hours to be observed from 10 pm - 7 am are very pleasant. So you can find the nightly rest and you can sleep fantastically and relax.

Jaako and his wife were superb hosts. I stayed in a historic wooden house with a fascinating history. It had been tastefully renovated while retaining its original features. The kitchen was absolutly fantastic too. Charging the rental Electric Vehicule was free of charge. The house is connected to the local government tap water system, which was superb!!! When I go back to visit Helsinki I will definitely try to rent this amazing place again. Although it's close to Helsinki, You feel like you're living in the countryside. Thanks!

I loved my stay. Aleksandra's place is tucked among the trees, but it's situated so that that big gorgeous window lets in lots of sky and sunlight and offers a stunning view of the lake. It's exactly as she's described and everything you see here... but more, too, because she's such a lovely, thoughtful host. I can't say enough about the weeks I spent here. They were restful and punctuated by walks and sauna visits. Exactly what I'd hoped for. Now? I'm hoping to return!
