Cabin vacation rentals in Leelanau County

It ended up just being my husband and I and it was wonderful. We wished we'd been able to stay longer. The hot tub was wonderful and the bed was very comfortable.

My husband, dog and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend getaway at Darren’s AirBnB. It’s close to nearby Leland/Fish Town, wineries, and trails, and only a 30 minute scenic drive to downtown Traverse City. The views are breathtaking and the cabin itself is beautiful. Spending the evenings/nights in the hot tub and making s’mores by the fire, all while being surrounded by the peaceful woods overlooking the lake, simply cannot be beat. We will definitely be back!

Such a cute place to stay and we had a blast on our Girls Trip! It was so comfy and inviting, plus the hot tub was a great amenity to have nightly after a long day in Traverse. Leigha was responsive to all our questions and gave great suggestions on local area things to do. Would definitely return!

Downtown is a 2-3 minute drive away. You can walk to the end of the street to a beachfront park. Really nice spot, would visit again for sure.

Nice cottage and location. Access to lake was unclear, but after walking around we found it. If you plan to rock hunting in the area, good luck. I was disappointed. We had a great stay and were very pleased that fur babies are allowed, that is why we booked it.

We loved the location. Our daughter and her husband went hiking and biking on nearby trails which they love to do. The cabin was great for me and my husband too. The view was amazing and we enjoyed spending time together on the deck with our little dog. We’d love to visit again. The pizza at Market 22 was so good and it was just across the street. Melanie and Neal were great hosts.

Great location and near to so many great spots for shopping, walking, eating, site seeing. Super clean and very well stocked. Comfy beds. Loved the fire pit and appreciated having wood there and available. Kitchen was very well appointed with everything we could need including spices, oil, & coffee.

The cottage was perfect place to stay while visiting Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. It was cozy and well decorated with a fireplace to heat the cabin on some cold nights. It was located lakeshore and she provided extra kayaks when asked. Also, we were able to bring our Boston Terrier and we so appreciated that. She enjoyed her stay as well. I would definitely recommend Melanie's cottage when visiting the area.

Janet is incredible. She was always responsive when our group had any questions. She made the bachelor party that much better. I would recommend her as a great host.

Loved how cozy it was! We even loved the tv set up for at night when we got back from adventuring. Perfect for snuggling up and staying warm! The kitchen could use a can opener tho! Would definitely come back and stay again!

My book club stayed here for the weekend and it was perfect! Everything was as described and it has a lovely view. The beach was easy to get to and we really enjoyed sitting in the backyard too. I still cannot get over how comfortable the beds were as well. It does get very bright in the loft area as the sun rises but it didn’t affect our weekend negatively just something for others to know. Overall, I would highly commend this spot!

Located in a great location In the Leelanau Peninsula, this is a very big cabin with 2 bedrooms and a loft and a full kitchen, and a bathroom. The perks of staying in a campground is there are lots of things to do like playground, jump pillow and walks! we would stay again!

Exactly what we needed for a long weekend, peaceful surrounding, disconnected to regroup and breath. If you want to admire the star without any light pollution, perfect spot. House was great, plenty of space and of course dog friendly (our trusted Viszla loved it too….dog approved). Just 10min from Suttons Bay and 20 from Traverse City. Jess was super responsive and accommodating

Really enjoyed our stay! Peaceful, clean, and great location.

We were looking for a place to stay and have beautiful views and with the park right across the street it was gorgeous. Unfortunately too cloudy for us to see dark skies and no aurora potential :/ but the sunset was absolutely beautiful on the dock. We found it extremely easy to see the dunes like we planned. We also went to traverse city and then putt putting at Crystal Falls Mini Golf & Ice Cream Shop. If you are willing to drive from the house 30 ish minutes it’s worth it from our opinion.
