Perfect location and a wonderful host! Far enough away from downtown for privacy, but close enough where it’s easy to get to everything (downtown Traverse City, Old Mission wineries, etc) also there’s a very nice walking path in the back, which is a great way to start the morning. Highly recommend!

Can’t say enough good things about our stay! Joe let us check in early, which was super helpful. We were a group of two families with lots of little kids, and the house was set up in a way where we all felt comfortable and kids were able to play and run around outside. The house is super clean and deceptively spacious, and everyone had plenty of room. Joe communicated with us throughout our stay to make sure we had what we needed, and even gave us the option to check out a bit late. It’s a great house for groups (especially families) in a quiet, beautiful location. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I love the Leelanau peninsula and try to go up once in the spring before the craziness and once in the fall each year. Tiffany’s place did not disappoint. The property its self was magical, private, and everything as described. The location was 5 stars for what we enjoy - Leland, Suttons Bay, Northport, Glen Arbor and all in between! Would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Fantastic home! We loved everything about this place. Lots of space for our family of six. House was clean, stocked with lots of amenities. Linens, towels, board games, books, kitchen supplies.. We loved the beautiful view, deck, fire pit, dock, paddle board and kayak. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

we loved to stay at this cabin in the Woods while exploring northern michigan! beautiful nature spot, great base to explore the surroundings, diving into touristic spots like Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Northport and Point Betsie Lighthouse, all in 20-30min reach whilst enjoying the tranquility of the Cedar small town and its wonderful people and places! the Kids (5 and 8) loved their upstairs hideaway, Fireplace outside and the deers close by ... its been a wonderful time for our Summer in Michigan!

We loved it here! Beautiful cottage on a peaceful and pristine lake in one of the most gorgeous areas of MI with excellent hosts! We really enjoyed our time here and are grateful to Joe and Natalie for our experience at their fantastic cottage.

Serving as a baby moon for my wife and me, this place was a very nice combo of peaceful and access to different parts of the peninsula. Virginia was very communicative from the jump, making sure we had everything we needed. If you’re hurting for ideas on things to do and places to eat, a nice touch was the binder they put together detailing a number of local favorites. Northern Michigan is a bit of hidden gem with all its beauty, and this home perfectly encapsulates that. Highly recommend and thank you for the stay!

We loved this cozy cabin in the woods. It was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our family of three. Loved that there were travel sized shampoos, conditioner, and soaps. Also they left a little snack bowl out with chips and popcorn and a s’mores kit! Thoughtful touches!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Tom and Juli's place, it was very clean and looks exactly like the pictures. The location could not be better, you can easily walk to stores, restaurants, coffee shops, and a great park that has an awesome playground for kids and tennis/pickleball/basketball courts. You are also within a 10 minute drive of all the hikes and activities of Sleeping Bear Dunes. Tom also gave us some great advice on activities for my kids. I would give this place a great recommendation and if we were to ever return to the area, this is the first place I would look for.

My husband and I had a great stay in this beautiful oasis! We enjoyed being out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Traverse City. Angela was great to communicate with and proactively addressed any needs we had. The unit was clean, the bed was comfortable and the view and beach were amazing!

A beautiful apartment that was extremely clean and was super cute! Great location - everything was literally steps away from the door! The host was very communicative and even provided us with coffee and some local cherries from the area which was really nice. Only tip I would have for other travelers would be to make sure to bring your own shampoo and soap, and be prepared that since it is a small town, many businesses close early or on certain days of the week :)

The view is like none other!! Very cozy and clean! We would stay again.

Right on Main Street, just a couple minute walk to the heart of downtown Leland. The perfect home base for relaxing in between beach walks, swimming, shopping, and eating. The attic was larger than pictures showed! There was pretty much everything you’d need to feel comfortable. Nicolle was very inviting and easy to communicate with. Hopefully we’ll be back again!

Perched on a peaceful hilltop surrounded by trees, the Birdhouse offers cozy, thoughtful accommodations. You will find that Joyce has thought about every detail in how the space is designed. From the delicious local coffee from Higher Grounds, to the comfortable bed and all of the kitchen supplies you could need, your shelter needs will be met - and then some with Joyce’s hospitality. We used her detailed visiting guide to pick up dinner (which did not disappoint in the least! Run, don’t walk, to Nittolo’s!) Our time in northern Michigan is always a treat. It feels like time is slower and the days are a little less stressful and our time at Joyce’s was no exception. This past weekend at the Birdhouse was one of our most memorable trips and Joyce’s hospitality played a large part in that. She was communicative leading up to our arrival date, was helpful when we had questions and was kind enough to let us meet and spend time with her adorable pups. We can't wait to return!

This was a fully equipped studio apartment, it had everything that we needed for our stay. I really liked the laundry room and ability to do a couple of loads while we were there. We also cooked at least a meal a day, and everything worked well. The refrigerator is full sized and has full size freezer as well. This is a great location as it is right on a main street downtown with some shopping and restaurants close by, a grocery store within a couple of blocks, and the lake within walking distance as well. Our grandkids really liked the park that was only two blocks away, and we played some pickle ball there, too. Glen Arbor is truly a nice, clean, safe town. Great place to visit.

We had a great time staying at Victoria’s Sutton’s Bay retreat! Her place was very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect… across the street from the beach, boutiques and restaurants as well as easy to drive to wineries and all of the wonderful towns. We had the pleasure of meeting Vicky. She was readily available if we needed her help and to answer any questions. We highly recommend this Air B&B and hope to return!

We loved everything about this stay! The condo was very clean, well cared for, spacious, and had everything we needed. The location is so quiet and peaceful. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Traverse!

This is one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at. It looked like the photos, so there was no disappointment up upon arrival. Everything was so clean and she even has little accessories to bring to the beach like beach chairs or boogie board and a cute little cooler. There are such thoughtful things around the place to make you feel like Home. Also, there are too many split air conditioning units that made this day very comfortable during the heat wave. Across the street from two very good restaurants, and on top of a little ice cream shop. I would very much recommend this place to anybody. I was without a car for part of my stay and that was not an issue at all. It’s a walkable distance to food establishments across the street as well as the local beach access. Super super cute. I Will definitely come back to this place If we visit the city again.

We enjoyed our stay for our 6 year anniversary! The condo was in a beautiful location and was perfect for the two of us. The only thing missing was shampoo and conditioner that was not included. However the store was less than 5 minutes away! We will stay again.

Mandy was great right from the start. I was frantically looking for a house that could accommodate a family of 6 while still giving everyone their space, when I came across the listing I was so excited, but dates were not in my favor in regards to availability. I reached to to Mandy and booked moments later. We were able to check in beforehand which just gets vacation going sooner than later! The view from the second you walk in the door is gorgeous! All rooms had plenty of space for your own items, I am one that unpacks even for 2 nights and love drawers and hangers LOL. The only thing, and I might have not seen it correctly is that the twin bed room and Queen bed room are swapped. I thought the Queen room had the full bath, but my brother, SIL and baby were just fine with the 1/2 bath. Definitely on the list for next year's adventure!

We spent a week at Dylan and Suzanne's condo. We planned it as a relaxing getaway – and it really was. The weather turned out a bit cooler than expected, but that ended up being perfect since we did a few days of hiking and the rest exploring the small towns along the coast. (Highly recommend the Bayview Trail that's accessible right from The Homestead.) Each day we'd come back and hang out on the screened-in deck. Our favorite feature! Even on the rainiest day when it was in the mid-50s, we grabbed a blanket and sat out there. It's just so peaceful. You can hear the waves and the surrounding trees make you feel like you're way off the beaten path. The condo is well-appointed and comfortable. I love the artwork they have on the walls. Lots of soothing scenes. Glen Arbor is a great spot to explore and close to many other lakeshore towns. Super easy to get around. If we're in the area in the future, we'd happily book the condo again!

We stayed at Caroline's place for a long weekend getaway and it was lovely. The home was clean and cozy, we felt like we were in a treehouse with the wooded surroundings and fresh snow fall. It was very peaceful. We loved the wood burning fireplace. There was firewood and starters available in the sheds outside which was very convenient. It's also walking distance to the spa nearby which has a great view of the lake. We hope to come back and visit again sometime!

We will definitely book this place again if we need to be close to the Grand Traverse Resort again. Its very clean, very comfortable, and the the views are really nice. It's just far away enough from downtown to be quiet and peaceful.

Chris and Scott’s place was perfect for our weekend getaway to the Traverse City area. Highly recommend for couples!!
