Vacation rentals with beach access in Leelanau County

This place was perfect! We were in town for a family wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Very clean and comfy and just a 10 second walk from shops, ice cream, and restaurants! Woulda definitely stay again! The homemade brownie mix was an extra special touch!

I absolutely loved my stay at this charming studio! It had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing solo retreat. The setting is incredible - right on the water. The views were breathtaking, especially at sunrise, and the private sandy beach made it feel like a hidden oasis. The landscaping is gorgeous , and the beachfront seating, fire pit, and beach toys made it easy to unwind and enjoy. The patio was a perfect spot to relax with a view and peaceful atmosphere. The owners were so kind and welcoming. It felt tucked away, yet still close to everything. Truly the best of both worlds. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, and relaxing stay with stunning setting.

This was our second stay at this location. The location is central to the places we like to go. The view is spectacular from inside and out! Very peaceful. Jim and Donna have been great communicators on both of our visits. We hope to return next year.

David and Nicole were exceptional hosts. They were extremely responsive and genuinely vested in a comfortable and pleasurable stay. Their attention to detail, well equipped accommodations made my stay better than my own home. Everything in its place and easy to find. Perched on a peaceful hilltop surrounded by trees, the Birdhouse offers cozy, thoughtful accommodations. You will find that Joyce has thought about every detail in how the space is designed. From the delicious local coffee from Higher Grounds, to the comfortable bed and all of the kitchen supplies you could need, your shelter needs will be met - and then some with Joyce’s hospitality. We used her detailed visiting guide to pick up dinner (which did not disappoint in the least! Run, don’t walk, to Nittolo’s!) Our time in northern Michigan is always a treat. It feels like time is slower and the days are a little less stressful and our time at Joyce’s was no exception. This past weekend at the Birdhouse was one of our most memorable trips and Joyce’s hospitality played a large part in that. She was communicative leading up to our arrival date, was helpful when we had questions and was kind enough to let us meet and spend time with her adorable pups. We can't wait to return!

Our stay was exactly what we needed. Three teachers starting their summer break off right! We loved how close it was to the beach, trails, and yummy food and drinks. The beds were comfy and the area was super quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a beautiful place with lots of land. And very quite relaxing atmosphere. Still close to lots of cute towns and not far from the water. This farm had everything you vouod ask for, with anything and everything you would need in a kitchen, to yard games, and even toddler bed and a crib you can set up. This place is set up where you bring your clothes, and everything else is already there for you. Would definitely come back!

Nice home. Well equipped kitchen items. Comfortable beds. I would recommend to anyone if they needed a place to stay in Northport.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! This was one of the nicest rental homes we have stayed in over the years. It was incredibly clean and so well stocked. The hosts have thought of everything their guests might need. Beds and linens were comfortable. Great water pressure in the showers! Cute and comfortable open living room and kitchen area. Northport was such a nice town. A few of the shops and restaurants were open as the town is still quiet this time of year as they come out of winter. We loved exploring. It was a short and beautiful drive to Suttons Bay with lots of shopping and many more restaurants, and about 40 minutes from Traverse City. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area. Thank you!

A short drive from downtown, this home met all of my group's needs for a weekend in Traverse City. Plenty of space for everyone and all the amenities we could need. Even with the construction in the area, the location was convenient.

great location and great place. my wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary and it was a perfect location to do a lot of things. as well as very comfortable to just chill at the house and do nothing! we loved it

Place was exactly as described. Perfect location for our needs and the ability to bring our dogs was a huge plus. House was spacious and well kept. Would stay here again

House location was 12/10. Couldn’t have asked for a better home base. Walking distance to trails and sits right on the lake. Kids loved playing in and on the water with the kayaks provided. Would highly recommend the home to family and friends and would stay here anytime our family returns to the area. House was as advertised and Joe was very responsive and offered local trails and areas to eat.

Corey’s place was perfect for our needs. We loved being able to pull into the garage and let our dogs out directly into the fenced yard. The home was beautiful, very clean and had a wonderful layout. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen and bathrooms, there were even games. We enjoyed the beach access and the sunrise and sunset views. I really hope get another chance to stay here.

We had a wonderful weekend and totally enjoyed the Condo. It was clean, organized and we felt right at home. We most definitely would stay there again. It was perfect!! Thank you so much for allowing us to rent from you. It was nice to have a home, instead of just hotel rooms. Excellent experience.

Very close to a quiet little beach. Nice quiet place to stay.

Our stay was absolute magic. Being able to stay above our absolute favorite chocolate shop was a dream come true. There is nothing like coming off of the beach and straight into the shop to grab a frozen chocolate bar and giant cookie! Such a unique and amazing spot. Can’t recommend it enough.

Mandy was great right from the start. I was frantically looking for a house that could accommodate a family of 6 while still giving everyone their space, when I came across the listing I was so excited, but dates were not in my favor in regards to availability. I reached to to Mandy and booked moments later. We were able to check in beforehand which just gets vacation going sooner than later! The view from the second you walk in the door is gorgeous! All rooms had plenty of space for your own items, I am one that unpacks even for 2 nights and love drawers and hangers LOL. The only thing, and I might have not seen it correctly is that the twin bed room and Queen bed room are swapped. I thought the Queen room had the full bath, but my brother, SIL and baby were just fine with the 1/2 bath. Definitely on the list for next year's adventure!

Had a great stay! I come into this area frequently for work and this was a great alternative to the Hotel costs which are astronomical in this area during the summer months. Place was clean, easy to access and was just what I needed for a few days in town.

Our stay was relaxing and exactly what we needed. The walk to the water was short and easy, giving us great views of the sunset.

The lodge was lovely. Right on the beach in a secluded wooded area. The hosts and other guests were all extremely welcoming.

The condo was very cute and clean. Very good communication with the host. No issues checking in or checking out and we had everything that we needed right there.
