House vacation rentals in Lake Oconee

The home is on a beautifully maintained lot with an amazing view of the lake and a dock to sit on or pull your boat up to. We enjoyed the views from the house, the dock and the pool! Everything was in prestige condition. Eileen was a wonderful host with clear communication.

My family and I spent a week at Scott’s place and it was perfect. Scott’s home is one of my favorite type of Airbnbs, where you feel like you are staying at a friend or family’s house - Extremely welcoming, cozy, safe, peaceful and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Secluded enough, but easy to find and close to grocery, etc. The property itself is well maintained and beautiful! We were lucky to see a few deer, bunnies and even meet a sweet neighbor’s dog. We had a small group but the house has plenty of room and would be a great fit for a larger group. Scott is a kind host and made us feel right at home. We definitely will be back!

Dana is an amazing host. This property is truly a hidden gem. To wake up to a lake in the back yard and families of deer strolling through without a care is a welcomed alternative to the hustle and bustle of regular life. I was born and raised in the area and live not to far away; however, we felt we were a world away from home. Dana reached out with so much great information about the house and the area. She knew our names and took care of all logistics for us. The home is gorgeous and spacious and smells amazing. The kitchen stocked well and we were in close proximity to everything. Our family fished steps from the back door. I want to keep this little piece of Heaven to myself but I know its best to share. Thanks Dana...we will be back!

Our group really enjoyed our stay. The house had plenty of space and was perfect for our needs. Having four full bathrooms was a huge bonus. Mary communicated very well and answered all of my questions. Mary also provided some great recommendations on things to do in the area and places to eat. Would definitely rent this property again.

5 Stars – A Perfect Stay! We had a wonderful experience at this Airbnb. The place was spotless and exactly as described. The host was incredibly responsive and made check-in seamless. The location was perfect—quiet but close to everything we needed.

We’ve stayed in Great Waters before, but this was our first time right on the water, and it was perfect. Morning coffee on the porch looking out at the lake was incredibly peaceful. We (the parents) loved having our own space downstairs, while the kids (each brought a friend) had plenty of room in the two upstairs bedrooms. We rented a boat nearby, and my husband was able to pick us up right at the dock out front. We forgot foil to make sandwiches and were happy to find some in the well-stocked kitchen. Just steps from the pool and beautiful walking paths by the lake and golf course. The hosts were friendly, communicative, and made everything easy. We’ll definitely stay again!

Amazing home right on the lake! My family of five, including 3 teenagers, thoroughly enjoyed staying on the lake. The home was spacious enough for everyone to have their own space. The open layout provided a great gathering place for us to wind down at the end of each day. The pool area was a nice place to relax on the 85 degree days. My youngest son spent everyday fishing off the dock and loved every minute. There were a couple of nice golf courses in the area that we visited as well. The home and area make for a great area to enjoy the outdoors! There is a Walmart super store only 15-20 mins away so everything you forgot is available nearby.

We had the best stay! My kids sure did enjoy swimming and fishing on the dock!

Very peaceful spot with multiple areas to entertain, hangout, play game or relax all of which could be taking place at the same time with no problem what so every. Very nice & accommodation layout for whatever you want your stay to look & feel like. Beds, pillows & linins were very comfortably. Overall great stay and would recommend.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful week at this house. We loved everything from the location, the layout and cleanliness of both the house and dock, and the beautiful grounds surrounding the house. We had everything we needed to cook our meals for the week, and there was plenty of space for our group of 6 adults and 4 children. We would definitely stay again.

Great location on the lake & close to supermarkets, restaurants, & other shopping. Super convenient. The covered porch & covered dock were perfect if you wanted a break from the sun. The interior of the house was bright & up to date.

Had a great relaxing time. Gorgeous scenery and the house was very nicely decorated. Lots of games to play with kids.

Staying here was absolutely worth it! Not only was the home beautiful and comfortable, but Brad and Alanna clearly put so much thought into every detail. The extras they provided — like the coffee, s’mores station, ice pops (which totally won over my daughter!), a detailed guest guide, kayaks, and a fully stocked kitchen — made the stay feel extra special. We truly felt at home thanks to their thoughtful touches. We will definitely be back. Thank you again!

Kim's home is all that and more! We fit seven women comfortably. It has a perfect great room alongside the kitchen so we could all be together but also has plenty of private areas to have a moment to yourself as well. It's peaceful, quiet, and rejuvenating. We loved the home's decor, all the extra details, especially a coffee station for each level of the home! The landscape is beautiful with a view of the lake from pretty much everywhere in and around the home! Highly recommend!!!

Yvette was a phenomenal host from start to finish. She was extremely responsive and helped my family even on a late night whim when our hotel had booked our room to someone else! While the night started out rough for us with that, Yvette was so accommodating and was able to give us a place to stay. I am grateful that she was there to open her home to us. The home is absolutely beautiful and exceptionally clean! The beautiful serenity that is the backyard is so peaceful to just sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee while the kids played in the yard. We came for a wedding and the location is just a short 25 min to the Heartwood Acres venue! Sheets on the beds were extremely tidy and everything looks very well maintained. If I had any questions, Yvette was on top of it! If I should ever find myself staying in this quaint little town again, I would absolutely stay here! Thank you Yvette so much for everything!

The view of Lake Sinclair from this house is 5 stars!The floor to ceiling windows in the sunroom off the back allowed you to sit back and unwind while overlooking the lake. The second living room/playroom and the bunk room was excellent for my kids. Easy walk down to the dock/lake. Overall great place on Lake Sinclair and would stay here again!

We had a great stay at this beautiful property. It was plenty of room for our crew of 9 and doggies. Some areas of the house could use some love, like the bathrooms, but overall great place and kind hosts. We loved our time on the boat, again spacious enough for the whole family!

This place was absolutely perfect! My family and I visit Lake Sinclair every summer for a week with our three kids (all under 10) and my in-laws. We’ve stayed at a different Airbnb each year, but this is the first one in the past seven years that we all agreed we’d love to return to. The location was ideal — a private boat ramp, deep water off the dock for swimming and fishing, and plenty of space for tubing right from the dock. There’s even a nearby beach at a marina with a water park that our kids loved. Crooked Creek Marina was just a 10-minute boat ride away, perfect for grabbing lunch and drinks. The house itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with more than enough bathrooms for everyone. Our favorite spot was the back porch — we spent every evening out there grilling and relaxing. The kids especially enjoyed the cozy day bed! Highly recommend this home for a fun and relaxing family getaway — we’re already talking about coming back next year!

The pictures do not do it full justice. This is a truly spacious peaceful house made to house a lot of guests. The view is hard to beat. We truly enjoyed all the amenities especially the paddle board grill and lily pad. We felt at home the entire stay and wanted to come back again. Highly recommended!!!

I have stayed in many short term rentals and I must say The Inn at Lake Oconoee checked all the boxes; clean, beautiful surroundings, spacious, good use of space, attention to detail and extremely responsive hosts. Our extended family (adult children and grandchildren) thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and loved getting acquainted with beautiful Lake Oconee. It was a welcome break from the hot Florida summer and we plan to revisit for another wonderful trip.

Memories for a lifetime! Spent Easter weekend with extended family at this beautiful property. The views are unbeatable, especially sunrise. Everything was as described and Rina was extremely accommodating and responsive. Easy to find and plenty of space. Would stay here again!
