My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fu-Ga’s! You can really feel the care she’s put into the apartment — from the thoughtful layout and charming decor to the wide range of amenities that made our stay extra comfortable. On the day we left, Fu-Ga even arranged for her son to drop us off at the train station as it was raining — a lovely final touch to a great stay. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality!

This is my second time staying here and it'll always be my top choice when I'm in the area :) The house is clean and cozy and the surrounding area is so peaceful, quiet, and dreamy. Everything is beautiful and I feel so relaxed staying here. There was a big storm the last time I stayed, but the patio is fully covered, so I got to sit outside and sip my coffee while listening to and watching the rain. The bathroom and kitchen are so well-stocked -- I haven't cooked here but the kitchen makes me want to! John is also a fantastic host who is so kind and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here if you have a chance!

A hidden gem in the mountains of Kumamoto! Staying at this private, hand-built lodge was nothing short of magical. Every detail of the space reflects the heart and soul that went into building it — from the thoughtful layout to the generous amenities provided. The tatami-style bedding was incredibly comfortable, making for restful nights surrounded by nature’s serenity. The surroundings are quiet, peaceful, and perfect for anyone looking to unplug and recharge. We especially loved the sound system — a real treat to play our favorite music while enjoying the view. What made the stay even more special was our host, who was warm, welcoming, and always ready with helpful recommendations. This is the kind of place that stays with you long after you’ve left. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to escape the noise of the world and reconnect with themselves.

We loved our stay at this place. It was very spacious for the two of us and we enjoyed using the private onsen. It would have been easier to find the place if the outside light was left on before we arrived.

It was a little small, but I could feel the atmosphere of a cute Japanese family home.

It was nice, great view, which was a small negative point for us that you couldn't darken the bedroom (it was bright as day at 5 o'clock). Check-in worked great, kitchen equipment was good, there was more than one gas stove. You should be good on foot, as there are stairs to the house, as well as in the house itself.

If I could rate 10 stars out of 5, I would! Takeshi and Michiko were generous hosts who warmly welcomed us to their home! Takeshi personally made sure we were settled in and taken care of. The house looks even better than the photos! What stood out to me are the little touches that reflect Takeshi’s and Michiko’s warm hospitality. They made us a loaf of bread, prepped yoghurt for breakfast and gave us heaps of guidance on where to check out in Beppu! Even as we left, Michiko baked us cookies for the road trip. It is as if we were visiting grandma’s in Beppu! It isn’t an exaggeration, but I dare say my best Airbnb experience ever!

The place was very neat and clean and the surroundings were quiet, so it was really nice to stay. The check-in process was easy with friendly instructions, and there was a terrace, so it was more elegant and nice. The host's response was quick, and even in a problem situation, we stayed really well without any inconvenience. The location of the accommodation was also close to Hakata Station, so it was very nice. I definitely want to visit again on my next trip.

The house is in a convenient location to get to the main areas on foot. It's a great place to stay for a family or group, with 2 separate bedrooms. * The house is on the second floor and the slope of the stairs going up is somewhat steep. Please consider it when accompanying the elderly, and consider using it if you tend to drink too much.

I was traveling with a baby who can't walk yet, so I was looking for a place to stay and I came across this place. It's not spacious, but it has a microwave, sink, and washing machine, so it was good for feeding babies and for families to stay! And the location is really, really good. There's a 24-hour 7-Eleven on the first floor, so I'm all set. However, there is a lot of carpet dust, so for those visiting with babies like me, I recommend taking a thin blanket or duvet and spreading it out. And the bathtub water didn't drain well.. Other than that, it's so good! Next time I go to Fukuoka, I want to stay there again.

It's a long way from Hakata Station, but there's a station nearby, so it's okay to use the station. The owner responds quickly and kindly. 4 people stayed, and the bedding was clean and comfortable.

The room is near Hakata Station, convenient transportation, and there is a yakitori tabelog top 100 shop nearby, very delicious.The sauna in the room is very good.

It's a big enough space for a family of 9 to stay. There are 3 rooms, and there are extra mattresses and covers, so it's spacious. The kitchen is well-equipped and clean. Several crows are making noises from dawn, so it would be nice for those who get up before sunrise. It was harsh for me. There are shops nearby that are open until dawn, so if you're sleeping in the biggest room, you might hear noise until late, so be sure to bring earplugs. From the washing machine to the dryer, it's perfect for family trips. I recommend it.

Just a perfect flat, everything what you need wirh good Connections to the center! The onsen was very relaxing and Together with the sauna a perfect spa retreat for The night :) i can fully recommend it :)!

The foreigner at the receptionist was friendly and my 1-year-old son asked for a high touch (^ ^) It was a good trip.I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

It was a very clean and comfortable accommodation in a quiet neighborhood. It was convenient to walk to Hakata Station, and convenience stores are also close. It was very good for 1 child and 5 adults to stay without any inconvenience.
