Had the whole cottage for 3 of us. Wish to stay longer, we did not get a chance to enjoy everything within the cottage... Because we stayed only 1 night, we focused on using the onsen, which was great. If there is thing that needs to check was the air-conditioning a on both the upper level were not cold enought that I chose to sleep on the sofa where it felt cold.

We enjoyed our stay in this charming house. It was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed. The sound of the river flowing outside added a nice, calming touch. The house is in Minamiaso, a peaceful area that made a great base for visiting Aso and Takachiho Gorge. There’s also a great yakiniku restaurant just off the main road nearby — one of the best meals I had during our time in Kyushu.

Had a wonderful stay.A farm that Sadachika raised over the hand salt, a treehouse and swing handmade for my grandchildren, a beautiful view of Beppu Bay, and a starry sky like a planetarium.It was a paradise place for my two little ones, and I couldn't get into the house and play outside forever.I think it's the best environment for families with children. It was a weekend, so the kiwi hunting and camping guests were always coming and running it alone, so I seemed to be very busy, but they took care of the details. The homemade honey was also very delicious. We'd love to visit again when it gets warm again.Thanks again!

Hita City, Oita Prefecture is adjacent to Fukuoka Prefecture and Kumamoto Prefecture, so it is convenient for sightseeing in Kyushu. 20-30 minute drive to Attack Giant Museum, Sapporo Beer, and Mutada-cho. 20-30 minutes drive to Odate Onsen and Minami Kogunicho. Yufuin is a 50-minute drive. Kyushu's tourist attractions can be reached in 1-2 hours. It is also a 10-minute drive away, great for golf courses, gymnasiums, tennis courts, pools, fairs and clubs.The ski resort is 50 minutes away. The nearest station is 9 minutes by taxi at JR Amagase Station. The supermarket is a 25-minute drive to Hita city center, so please take care of it beforehand. The small shop is a 10-minute drive. This is the second time. This time, it was a base for me to relax with two dogs. I really recommend surfing Miyazaki with your dog. It is a short drive to Kanagahama.

The grounds were peaceful and beautiful in Autumn, and his mother’s sponge cake was a wonderful breakfast. He gave us local recommendations of places to visit and restaurants to try. The kitchen is also well equipped for eating in. We had a very restful and enjoyable time there.
