Cabin vacation rentals in Kuopio

We had a pleasant and successful holiday in the middle of exceptionally beautiful and peaceful lake Finland. All around, there were only the sounds of birds. We felt welcome and the accommodation met and exceeded our expectations. Our little schoolchild also enjoyed himself. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We can warmly recommend the property to nature travelers.

We stayed 5 weeks in this incredible accommodation and if we could have stayed 5 more we would have 🤩 The photos don't do justice to the beauty of the place, which is even more beautiful in real life! It was a really nice surprise The house is perfectly equipped, very comfortable and the cleaning was impeccable when we arrived 😊 We'll miss the beautiful sunsets over the lake in the evening! Thanks again for letting us experience this stay 🙏

Our group had an absolutely amazing stay at Samuli's cabin, it's a place we will all cherish as we were able to create long-lasting memories. Everything was exactly as described, and there were no issues arriving and checking into the cabin. The cozy vibes simply cannot be photographed – the place is much better in person! Throughout the entire process, from pre-booking to after our stay, Samuli has been an extraordinarily helpful and proactive host, probably the best I've experienced on AirBnB. I am super grateful for his excellent communication skills and his quick responses to our questions. One thing that was slightly difficult (only because it was about -20C on the coldest day we were there) was the heating of the sauna in the winter. It took a lot of effort to keep the fire burning, but eventually we were able to enjoy some nice löyly. This is all of course understandable as it is primarily a summer cabin. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

Thank you Tuulia for a wonderful weekend at your cottage! We just got married and had a really good time and enjoyed each other's company in a great setting. The cottage was really cozy and in a great location. It was wonderful to relax in the hot tub, the outdoor sauna provided really pleasant steam baths and for a birdwatcher, the surroundings were just and almost enough to watch. We spent wonderful relaxing holiday at Tiinas mökki. The place is definitely to recommend if you are looking for real finish holiday at the lake with sauna and fishing. Tiina is always very responsive and open to help. A car is to recommend to reach the place and doing groceries... We would love to come back...

We spent a week at Arja's place and everything was perfect . The cottage is incredibly well located, far enough from the pavement so we are not disturbed and at the edge of the beautiful lake it was beautiful. There's plenty of things to do around with good hiking opportunities. Thank you for everything!

Excellent listing, would have stayed longer. Wood sauna 🧡 Maybe the only area for improvement would be a more modern TV that could be connected to your own devices, use to listen to music, or use to watch streaming. Otherwise no complaints about anything 🤗

Peaceful and secluded place, the house is a very cocooning and very well-equipped little paradise. Too bad we only stayed 2 nights!

Beautiful countryside and a really nice log cabin. The sauna offers good steam. The perfect choice when you want to relax and enjoy the moment.

What a lovely little cottage tucked away by a lake. My son and I were on a road trip and contacted Thomas in the late afternoon for a same-day booking. He responded very quickly, and when we arrived two hours later, the wood for the sauna was ready and so were the towels. The place is clean and idyllic. I highly recommend it!

The cottage worked well for a group of 7 people, plus a big sauna and a lot. Communication worked well with the owner, and there was no problem. I'd book again!

A clean and simple cottage with basic equipment. Plus a boat and a lovely hut where you can grill. The air source heat pump was good on hot days. Tidy up the yard could bring more looks to the yard:)

My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay here. It was peaceful along the lake. The cottage was cozy but had everything we needed. We really enjoyed using the lovely wood sauna. We also had fun taking the tinny out for a row along the lake. Not much to see other than other neighbours properties but still a good experience. The bed was comfortable. We were never cold (yes it was summer but still colder than we’re used to in Aus), and we had all the cooking utensils we needed. Despite only being a few meters from the main house where the host family lives, we still felt like we had privacy. The mozzies are a pain so we didn’t use the hot tub or lake but there is a flyscreen door so you can still get fresh air in the cottage. Overall we had a great stay while exploring Central Finland.
