The place is great! Raija's cottage is compact: small, but well-equipped. Our group of 8 people fit comfortably to spend the weekend. The cottage and the barns were wonderfully cool even though the outside temperature was already higher. The vaulted sauna offered incredibly wonderful and gentle saunas for the whole group at once. Raija gave comprehensive instructions on how to use the cottage. I'd love to come back to the place sometime! 👌🏻

We had a great time with the kids, nice quiet environment, easy to get around on public transport, cozy and comfortable apartment, we would come again!

The place was very easy to find. The location is gorgeous. You have your peace and quiet, but Kuopio is not that far. You can get to the city quickly. The house is fantastic. Located right on the lake, large, clean, perfectly equipped. It makes you feel right at home. Sirpa was always happy to help with questions and responded quickly. All in all, I highly recommend it.

Strong recommendation for this stay. Valkeisenlampi is a great place for both winter and summer. The surroundings are great for outdoor activities and downtown services were a short trip, especially as we got to straighten out over the pond along the ice. We had a great time in a beautifully decorated, peaceful, and extra tidy apartment. Messages and login went smoothly. The parking space was right next to the front door of the apartment. For bad shoes, the steep stairs in the hallway can be tricky and there is no elevator in the house.

It's a beautiful place with its own lake access. The terrace is an absolute dream. The house itself is modern but a bit chaotic - you can tell that the house is used a lot. Unfortunately, the cleanliness does not meet the Airbnb standard - especially the shower area and kitchen appliances must be thoroughly cleaned. We didn't feel like the house had been cleaned at all lately and were a little annoyed that we still had to pay a cleaning fee. We still give 5 stars because we still had a great stay and enjoyed the peace and quiet very much. But I think you should know what you're getting, if you expect a sparkling clean house, you're in the wrong place. Perhaps still relevant for dog owners: the description says the property would be completely fenced - that's not true, there is no fence.

This was our favorite Airbnb that we've ever stayed in. From the great communication of the hosts Tiina and Pasi (who went above and beyond at every turn) to the moment we stepped into this beautiful apartment, we felt at home and comfortable. The apartment itself is even more beautiful than the photos, if you can believe that. It is bright, spacious and has a lovely view of the lake. The kitchen is stocked with everything you might need. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom includes a wonderful sauna. Downtown Kuopio is within easy walking distance and there is a bus stop just around the corner for further excursions. We are already planning our next trip back to Kuopio and will definitely be staying in this apartment again!

I can recommend. The place matched the description. The blackout curtains delighted me, because I like to sleep in the dark. There were plenty of alternative parking spaces nearby. The location was good anyway - it was nice to do a little evening walk around the pond.

Nice place and good cottage. Katri was greeting and instructing. Very good steam in the sauna, pike came from the dock, sturdy rowing boat, water toys and games a lot....Overall, a very functional cottage for vacation, we had a great time!
