Monthly Rentals in Khaknal

We spent a beautiful month in Apple Blossom, a family home nested in an apple orchard, surrounded by deodar and pine forests. Sunny and Pushpa, and their extended family, are very kind and caring hosts. Living on the spacious top floor, we had our privacy, along with stunning views onto the valley and mountains, yet also felt part of the everyday life of the house. Our time in Sajla coincided with an important festival in the village—we felt privileged to witness the rituals and the family made sure we were part of the celebrations by sharing tea, beer and fruit with us. Even though we could not speak to each other at great length, because we didn’t share a language, we felt cared for and were able to arrange everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the balcony, in the sunshine and in the rain, which is also where we had all our meals. Apple Blossom is a great place for feeling, and living into, the rhythm of a true mountain village.

Booked this property for a quick stay at the end moment and was there for like 12 hours but really wished we had also enjoyed the good day time and sunset at the property. A beautiful, old but well kept property for a small group or family. The views are just gorgeous. You’ll be surrounded with views and the lawn is a cherry in the cake. A must visit!

This was my 2nd stay at Tenzin's bhaiya house. Earlier I had the pleasure to stay with Tenzin bhaiya's family for 4 months from Jan to May. Their service and hospitality is unmatchable. From day one his wife and he treated me like a family member and made sure I feel homely. They are very attentive and makes sure that their guest do not face slightest problem. The view from their property is amazing and they have this huge garden where staring at mountains becomes a hobby . I visited this property during snowfall season and this property receives good amount of snowfall. Everything turns white as if you're in fairyland. Very peaceful place with lovely people.The local recommendations by Tenzin bhaiya are must visit. Highly recommend this property if you're looking for a peaceful stay and away from chaos crowd. For me it's like my second home now.
