Our stay at Tarja and Scott’s house was one of the best adventures of our lives. Even before the trip, they were very kind and helpful. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and had everything we needed. The house was cozy and warm, with plenty of firewood. There is also a beautiful kota near the house where we could cook on the fire and watch the northern lights. We were lucky to see the aurora five nights in a row. Scott also gave us great advice about hiking and kindly let us stay a bit longer on our last day. Before we left, we had a nice talk and learned more about his life. We will always remember this peaceful place by the lake and hope to return one day. :)

Juhas Villa is one of the best accommodations i‘ve been to during all my Journeys. It‘s located very beautiful and private near a huge lake. The Villa is spacious and equipped very well. It‘s 30 minutes from Ranua by car away. So it’s a good Place to visit for example the Ranua Wildlife Park. We also Went to Korouoma Canyon from Juhas Villa. It’s easy to get to the Villa by car, Even in Winter when the streets are a Little Snowy. We (5 people) have been there in March with a rentalcar. Juha is so friendly, Helpful and polite! He Went icefishing with us on the lake and offered us warm Drinks and Snacks. The best things of the Villa were the Sauna, the whirlpool and spotting the polarlights out of the livingroom. I can absolutely recommend Juhas Villa and I‘d love to come back, maybe in Summer next time! Everything was Perfect, thank you!

Woww – eines der wirklich seltenen Juwele hier auf Airbnb! Ein wirklich schickes Haus, sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und sauber geputzt. Mit dem eigenem Seezugang, so ganz für sich alleine, das wahre Finnland, ein Traum! Man ist wirklich für sich alleine und hat ins kleine Dörfchen 7-8min zu fahren, aber die Ruhe ist herrlich. Geheizte Garage ist super, ein 4WD ist im Winter bei der relativ steilen Zufahrt sicher empfehlenswert sonst könnte es sein dass man nicht mehr weg kommt. Wir konnten über den gefrorenen See laufen, die Sauna geniessen und Nachts perfekt Nordlichter direkt über dem Haus beobachten. Gute Gründe um wieder zu kommen! Wir waren nur zu zweit, aber das Haus ist auch für 6 Personen wirklich gross genug – Top! Im Ort hats 2 Supermärkte wo man alles findet, ansonsten ist's da aber nicht viel los, war für uns aber genau richtig um zu entspannen. Wir waren schon in relativ vielen Airbnb's und Hotels, die Unterkunft ist bei uns mindestens in den Top 5!

We loved our stay at the cabin. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was great to have during our stay! We loved staying a bit further outside of Rovaniemi city center so that we could really get to experience more of the natural wonders that Lapland has to offer. We wish we would have been aware of the smaller hot water tank before booking. This was not a problem this trip but if we were traveling with family and cooking we can see where the limited hot water tank size could be a problem. Overall, we would book this cabin again!

Good location, nice ambient

We were a group of 6 adults, and we all fitted very nicely in this wonderful cabin next to the lake. The silence of the forest was at times solely interrupted by the chirping of the birds. We felt right at home in the cabin, which was equipped with all we needed. For instance, the cabin had lot of amenities to cook, and towels and linens were available as nicely described. Within drivable distance from Rovaniemi, it was the perfect choice to spend time in the Finnish nature. The fireplace next to the lake and the private sauna made our stay unique. We highly recommend this place for medium sized groups who enjoy outdoors and having privacy and alternate the visit to Rovaniemi attractions with calmness and slow paced life of Finnish mökki. We had no troubles in driving with a van through the muddy road that runs through the hill and forest to reach the cabin in spring time. Thank you so much for the lovely stay!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Nicholas. L’accueil et les instructions étaient très clairs. L’appartement était très chaleureux et fonctionnel, nous nous y sommes très bien sentis. Le sauna est un véritable atout que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Nous recommandons sans hésiter Nicholas et son appartement pour découvrir Rovaniemi et ses environs.

We loved the place, near Ruka skiing place and near Kuusamo also. You can find everything you need for the stay. We come in low season so almost everywhere is closed, but thanks to the place we have so many spices to cook. Good value 👍🏻

Siisti ja toimiva asunto! Keittiöstä löytyi se mitä tarvittiin. Vauvallekin oli omat petivaatteet :) yhteydenpito todella helppoa, voin suositella!

Magnifique séjour en Laponie et l'appartement est chaleureux, propre et très fonctionnel. Niina et Heini sont adorables et très réactives en cas de problèmes ou questions. Également très bien situé vous êtes à 10 min à pied des commerces et du centre ville. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour à Rovaniemi et repartons des étoiles plein les yeux. Merci à Niina et Heini

Esperienza fatta ad inizio Aprile 2025, Merja è stata una persona fantastica ancor prima di conoscerla di persona perché mi ha scritto prima di arrivare, è stata molto cordiale e gentile, mi sarebbe persino venuta a prendere in aeroporto. La camera stupenda con vista sul lago ghiacciato ci ha permesso di ammirare la splendida aurora boreale. Pulizia massima e struttura calda e da un senso di relax. Inoltre è vicinissima al centro città e a tutte le attività oltre che ai vari servizi. Se potessi mettere 6 stelle le metterei e consiglierei l’appartamento a chiunque. C’è veramente tutto e anche il prezzo è giusto per quello che offre. Consiglio vivamente a chiunque. Grazie Merja se dovessi tornare a Rovaniemi tornerei da te!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl in der Unterkunft gefühlt! Es waren sehr ruhige und angenehme Tage, perfekt zum komplett ausschalten und einfach sein. Jenny war sehr hilfsbereit und hat immer schnell und präzise auf unsere Nachrichten geantwortet! Vielen Dank!

Majoitus oli juuri sitä mitä luvattiin. Todella rauhallinen ja kaunis paikka, hyvällä sijainnilla pois hälinästä mutta silti lähellä kylää. Teemu vastasi nopeaa viesteihin ja oli ystävällinen. Mökistä löyty kaikki tarpeellinen ja ulkosaunassa sai hyvät löylyt. Tullaan uudestaanki😊

We had an amazing time in this cozy and well-equipped cabin. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home right away. They were always available and helped us with every question we had, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. The cabin offers a great selection of sports equipment, including snowshoes and sleds—perfect for outdoor adventures. The breathtaking nature surrounding the cabin made our stay even more special. We especially loved the stunning view of the frozen lake and the beautiful snow-covered forests, which created a magical winter wonderland. The neighbors were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming, adding to the warm atmosphere. This place is safe, family-friendly, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We truly felt comfortable and would love to come back!

Wir haben es absolut geliebt! Die Hütte ist total heimelig und lädt zu gemütlichen Spielenachmittagen vor dem flackernden Ofen ein. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, sogar Basislebensmittel wie Mehl, Tee, div. Gewürze, Nudeln, Reis, etc. waren vorhanden. Nicht unwichtig wenn der nächste Supermarkt 70km entfernt ist. Keine fünf Gehminuten ist der See entfernt, ein perfekter Ort zum Polarlichter schauen. Freie Sicht in alle Richtungen, sofern es die Wolken zulassen ;-) Keine nennenswerte Lichtverschmutzung in der Umgebung, ein Traum. Tero hat uns auf Anfrage diverse Aktivitäten empfohlen, wodurch wir Janne, den Rentierzüchter in Unari kennengelernt haben. Das war wirklich eine besondere Erfahrung, zwischen hunderten von Rentieren zu stehen, die sich wie wild ums Futter getummelt haben. Wir sind uns wie in einer Tierdoku vorgekommen ;-) Also wer es gerne abgeschieden mag, ist hier genau richtig :-D

Ein wirklich sehr tolles Haus! Wir waren für drei Nächte mit unseren beiden kleinen Kindern dort und alle (Erwachsenen wie Kinder) haben sich sehr Wohlgefühlt und nichts vermisst. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, mit richtig tollen Spa Bereich, einer wirklich gut ausgestatteten Küche und so weiter. Die Gegend ist sehr schön. Man kann vom Haus direkt loslaufen, ist aber auch schnell in der Stadt um was zu unternehmen. Wir würden es jedem empfehlen!

We hebben 4 nachten doorgebracht in dit prachtige huis! Wat een fantastische plek om te zijn, je hebt het hele huis voor jezelf. De omgeving is rustig en heel mooi. Marita en Sami zijn lieve en warme mensen. Ze ontvangen je als je aankomt. Als er iets is of als je een vraag hebt dan hoef je maar een berichtje te sturen en je hebt antwoord. Het huis was heel schoon en voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Er is hout voor de kachel wat je mag gebruiken. Wij hebben het ijsvissen, het voeren van rendieren en de huskytocht via hun geboekt, dit zijn aanraders. Het ijsvissen is heel leuk omdat je dat samen met Marita en Sami doet. Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf bij deze lieve mensen.

Mökki Mourujärvellä oli juuri sitä mitä minä ja 2 poikaani sekä koira kaipasi. mukava pikkumökki kauniilla järvinäköalalla rauhallisella sijainnilla. Löytyipä järvestä kalaakin syötäväksi,tai ainakin haukea. Itse uskon vielä palaavani koko pesueen voimin samaiseen kohteeseen. yleisarviono,perussiisti mukava pikkumökki,ei luxusta jos sitä kaipaa vaan perin suomalainen punainen tupa🔥👌 Jatkoon siis kyllä
