Our stay at Tarja and Scott’s house was one of the best adventures of our lives. Even before the trip, they were very kind and helpful. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and had everything we needed. The house was cozy and warm, with plenty of firewood. There is also a beautiful kota near the house where we could cook on the fire and watch the northern lights. We were lucky to see the aurora five nights in a row. Scott also gave us great advice about hiking and kindly let us stay a bit longer on our last day. Before we left, we had a nice talk and learned more about his life. We will always remember this peaceful place by the lake and hope to return one day. :)

Juhas Villa is one of the best accommodations i‘ve been to during all my Journeys. It‘s located very beautiful and private near a huge lake. The Villa is spacious and equipped very well. It‘s 30 minutes from Ranua by car away. So it’s a good Place to visit for example the Ranua Wildlife Park. We also Went to Korouoma Canyon from Juhas Villa. It’s easy to get to the Villa by car, Even in Winter when the streets are a Little Snowy. We (5 people) have been there in March with a rentalcar. Juha is so friendly, Helpful and polite! He Went icefishing with us on the lake and offered us warm Drinks and Snacks. The best things of the Villa were the Sauna, the whirlpool and spotting the polarlights out of the livingroom. I can absolutely recommend Juhas Villa and I‘d love to come back, maybe in Summer next time! Everything was Perfect, thank you!

Miia is a great host. She is super helpful and help us a lot before we arrive Rovaniemi. The house is such a beautiful place to stay, be it the house environment or their surrounding area. It is too big for 4 of us but we did enjoyed it due to great location in front of the lake. We experienced Northern Light just in front of the balcony. Very recommended to stay! Worth it! Good location, nice ambient

We were a group of 6 adults, and we all fitted very nicely in this wonderful cabin next to the lake. The silence of the forest was at times solely interrupted by the chirping of the birds. We felt right at home in the cabin, which was equipped with all we needed. For instance, the cabin had lot of amenities to cook, and towels and linens were available as nicely described. Within drivable distance from Rovaniemi, it was the perfect choice to spend time in the Finnish nature. The fireplace next to the lake and the private sauna made our stay unique. We highly recommend this place for medium sized groups who enjoy outdoors and having privacy and alternate the visit to Rovaniemi attractions with calmness and slow paced life of Finnish mökki. We had no troubles in driving with a van through the muddy road that runs through the hill and forest to reach the cabin in spring time. Thank you so much for the lovely stay!

The house is exceptional, beautiful and located right on the lake. The decor is natural, modern and with lots of wood; we felt very comfortable from the first moment. Note the very secluded location; the nearest shopping (supermarket) is about 15 minutes away by car. But with proper planning, that's not a problem either. We enjoyed the quiet idyllic location very much.

The place is really bigger in real life! Beautiful view, we were able to see some northern lights on the 31st! Arto is very responsive! I recommend it. ☺️

We had a great time at Nicholas' place. The welcome and instructions were very clear. The apartment was very warm and functional, we felt very good there. The sauna is a real asset that we really appreciated. We would definitely recommend Nicholas and his apartment to discover Rovaniemi and its surroundings.

We loved the place, near Ruka skiing place and near Kuusamo also. You can find everything you need for the stay. We come in low season so almost everywhere is closed, but thanks to the place we have so many spices to cook. Good value 👍🏻

Tidy and functional apartment! We found what was needed in the kitchen. The baby had their own bedding too:) Communication is really easy, I can recommend!

Wonderful stay in Lapland and the apartment is warm, clean and very functional. Niina and Heini are adorable and very responsive if you have any problems or questions. The stay was just what was promised. Very peaceful and beautiful place, well located away from the hustle and bustle but still close to the village. Teemu responded to quick messages and was friendly. The cottage has everything you need and the outdoor sauna got a good steam. Let's come again😊

We had an amazing time in this cozy and well-equipped cabin. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home right away. They were always available and helped us with every question we had, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. The cabin offers a great selection of sports equipment, including snowshoes and sleds—perfect for outdoor adventures. The breathtaking nature surrounding the cabin made our stay even more special. We especially loved the stunning view of the frozen lake and the beautiful snow-covered forests, which created a magical winter wonderland. The neighbors were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming, adding to the warm atmosphere. This place is safe, family-friendly, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We truly felt comfortable and would love to come back!

We absolutely loved it! The cabin is totally homely and invites you to cozy games afternoons in front of the flickering oven. The kitchen is well equipped, even basic food such as flour, tea, various Spices, pasta, rice, etc. were available. Not unimportant if the nearest supermarket is 70km away. The lake is less than a five minute walk away, a perfect spot to look at the aurora lights. Unobstructed view in all directions, as far as the clouds allow ;-) No noteworthy light pollution in the area, a dream. Tero recommended various activities on request, so we met Janne, the reindeer in Unari. This was truly a special experience to stand among hundreds of reindeer who have been fuming around the food like wild. We felt like we were in an animal documentary;-) So if you like it secluded, this is the place to be:-D

A really great house! We stayed there for three nights with our two young children and everyone (adults and children) felt very comfortable and missed nothing. The house is very well equipped, with a really great spa area, a really well-equipped kitchen and so on. The area is quite nice. You can walk directly from the house, but you can also quickly get to town to do something. We would recommend it to anyone!

We spent 4 nights in this beautiful house! What a fantastic place to be, you'll have the entire house to yourself. The surroundings are quiet and quite beautiful. Marita and Sami are lovely and warm people. They will receive you when you arrive. If there is anything or you have a question, all you have to do is send a message and you have an answer. The house was very clean and provided with everything you need. There is wood for the stove which you can use. We have booked the ice fishing, the feeding of reindeer and the husky trip through them, these are recommended. The ice fishing is very nice because you do that with Marita and Sami. We enjoyed our stay with these lovely people.

The cottage in Mourujärvi was just what I and my 2 sons and dog needed. comfortable little cottage with beautiful lake view in a quiet location. I hope you find fish in the lake to eat, or at least a pike. I still believe I'll return to the same place with the whole family. general assessment, basically a nice little cottage, no luxury if you need it, but a thoroughly Finnish red cottage🔥👌 So, yes, I will continue
