Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Katoomba

Beautiful house! We stayed with our 3 and 1 year olds who thought it was Christmas Day with the yard amenities! Swings, climbing, seesaw, and the yert toys and coloring. The house was spacious and clean. Location was peaceful, with a small cafe 5min walk up the road. The heaters meant the littlies slept peacefully the whole night through. Would love to stay again soon, thanks Sierra!

We had such a lovely time staying at this Airbnb! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was incredibly welcoming and got to meet their lovely Horse. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed, yet quiet enough to relax and unwind. Would highly recommend! :)

We loved every part of our stay. The photos don’t even do it justice, it was such a large and beautifully decorated space. Walking distance to everything but reasonable fitness level is required as it’s very hilly/steep to get anywhere (as is expected in Katoomba). Will definitely be back and recommend to many.

Our trip to the Blue Mountains for the UTMB Ultra Marathon was made extra lovely by the wonderful stay we had at Dinesh's place. This home is extremely well set up, and had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. The view from the back yard (the hot tub especially!) was just spectacular. The three bedrooms were all nicely sized, and having two full bathrooms was great. Our hosts also provided a range of really helpful suggestions for local restaurants, etc. - which were greatly appreciated! We loved our stay in this wonderful house, and really appreciated the thoughtful hospitality. We'd absolutely stay with Dinesh again.

An incredible view and very comfortable and roomy home. Great for cooking indoors or outdoors and close to all the local amenities while feeling like you're in the bush in the magnificent Blue Mountains. plenty of local wildlife drops by to say hello too.

Highly recommend staying in this beautiful home. It is so conveniently located just a few minutes outside of Katoomba CBD. It's a home away from home. It's comfy, cosy, accomodating. With three bedrooms and an office which has a portacot, it would make travelling with your family very easy. In the winter time the fireplace makes a lovely addition to keep you warm. The beds were comfy and the bedding was extremely warm.

We had a great time at James’s place. Great location, walking distance to a lot of restaurants and cafes, easy check in and perfect space for the 4 of us. Stayed nice and warm with the heating, and the heated towel racks were an added bonus. Recommend this place for sure if you’re visiting Katoomba!

We loved Hazel's place. It was right above Eat street yet private and the amenities were great. The apartment was lovely we felt right at home and enjoyed the afternoon music from the streets below. We did stay over a long weekend and a Paramatta home game, so the night sounds were a little loud, but hey Paramatta won! So bring with a set of earplugs if you think this might interrupt your sleep. We would stay at Hazel's again without a second thought. We also absolutely loved the balcony. Hazel's house is an absolute gem, clean , comfortable (beds were great) and had everything you could need. We loved it and am sure you will too.

Amazing view of the blue mountains from the deck and the kitchen. Lovely home and spacious. Peaceful area located on the second floor of the house. Just have to take note that you will have to carry your luggage up/down (no lifts). And there’s only one toilet. Very responsive to queries to put your mind at ease.

Great place, one of the best, top 2. Very helpful hosts, easy going. They have kept the tradition of “ breakfast” with the outstanding basket of home/chef made fare, not to mention the red, white and port wines as well, fresh orange juice and milk. A fabulous little getaway. The sunlight the house gets is incredible. The hosts were so lovely. There are lights that turn on after dark which was helpful. Short walk to shops and trains - albeit uphill. The only thing that was a bit iffy was the gas oven. Perhaps it was our lack of knowledge but we couldn’t google the model of it for instructions either. Other than that there was plenty of other ammenities to make your own dinner.

Matt & Eva's place is spacious and quiet, very well suited to multiple people staying as each bedroom has its own ensuite and there are multiple outdoor areas. The kitchen facilities are also excellent. Matt & Eva provided clear access/exit instructions as well as excellent local recommendations and were very responsive. Thank you Matt & Eva!

Had a great stay here, using it as a base to explore the surrounding national parks and towns. The unit was clean and warm and had everything we needed.

Awesome spot! Exactly as described. Zaia the host is a ripper person. Accommodated our slightly early check in. Met us in person upon arrival. Some unexpected (and very appreciated) gifts on arrival waiting in the apartment. Couldn’t ask for more. This is the easiest and best experience I have ever had with an Airbnb. Just the gold standard.

We had a lovely stay! The place was really comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect—just a 3-minute walk to Westfield, which made everything super convenient. There were also so many great restaurant options nearby. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful—when we accidentally went to the wrong side of the road, they quickly guided us to the right spot to collect the key. Really appreciated the support and smooth communication. Would definitely recommend and stay again! Thank Xian.

Nancy’s apartment was spacious, clean & comfortable. It’s just a short stroll to Westfield, multiple restaurants & eateries, trains, light rail & a 25 minute walk to the Ferry. Nancy was very easy to communicate with. The apartment suited our needs perfectly & I’d love to book it again in the future.

Great place, location and host. Daniel property was exactly what he described, extremely close to stores so never had any hassle, in the centre of parramatta which allowed for easy access to almost every suburb. Extremely responsive host, constantly checked up if i required anything, rarely had to wait too long for a response. instruction to access the building and where parking and keys location was the most helpful thing, out of all the places i’ve ever stayed at, daniel’s instructions were undoubtedly the best. Definitely recommend, Definitely would rebook next trip.
