Villa Solbacka is a charming artist's home, built in 1913 and located in Billnäs, just 10 km from Fiskars village. The beautiful windows and other architectural details give the house an unique atmosphere. The house is decorated with solid old wooden furniture, many of them handmade. There are two fireplaces in the house. Outside the master bedroom there is a sunny balcony. The building is surrounded by majestetic pine-trees and maples. In the outbuiling there is a sauna and a small terrace.

Cute, rustic, tiny 1-bedroom cabin. Perfect for short stays to visit nearby attractions, Fiskars, Billnäs, Påminne and so on. Household staples (linens, towels etc.), Wi-Fi, as well as kitchen essentials are at your disposal. Built in 1907, the house was used as a guardhouse by the Lotta Svärd movement. The entire property rests on the skirts of a stunning rocky hill, on top of which are gorgeous views of the bay and a well-preserved burial ground dating back to the Bronze Age (1500-500 B.C.).

Mökki sijaitsee lähellä Billnäsin ruukkia, ja myös Fiskarsin ruukkikylä ravintoloineen ja putiikkeineen on pyöräilyetäisyydellä. Puulämmitteinen perinnesauna, joka on vapaasti vuokraajien käytössä, tarjoaa syvät ja kosteat löylyt.

Kodikas, kompakti loft-tyyppinen asunto 1800-luvun puutalossa. Sijainti on rauhallinen, mutta keskeinen. Torille, rantaan, kauppaan ja ravintoloihin on vain muutaman minuutin matka. Äskettäin remontoitu. Kesäisin viihtyvyyttä lisää aurinkoinen piha, jossa pöytäryhmä. Ilmalämpöpumppu pitää tilan lämpimänä talvella ja viileänä kesällä. Wifi on käytössäsi. Asunnossa on osin matala huonekorkeus. Sisällä on jyrkät portaat, joten se ei sovellu pienille lapsille tai liikuntarajoitteisille.

Kattava varustelu. Pyyhkeet ja liinavaatteet sisältyvät vuokraan. Soveltuu parhaiten yksin matkustavalle, pariskunnille ja pienille perheille (makuupaikat kahdelle). Lisävuode, vauvan matkasänky ja syöttötuoli saatavilla erikseen pyydettäessä. Valitettavasti emme pysty majoittamaan lemmikkejä.

Villa Borgmästars on vuonna 1926 valmistunut talo 4 perheen koti. Taloa on entisöity useita vuosia ja työ jatkuu edelleen. Karjaan matkakeskukselle on vain 300 metrin matka, ja omalla autolla tulijoillekin löytyy ilmaista parkkitilaa pihalta ja kadun varresta. Sijainti on kuitenkin rauhallinen, eivätkä esimerkiksi junan äänet yletä talolle saakka. Käytössäsi on alakerran huoneisto: 3 huonetta ja keittiö sekä sauna. Vuokranantaja asuun yläkerran huoneistossa.

Our stay was an amazing getaway! The cabin was so peaceful, surrounded by trees and birds. We managed to cook all our meals in the cabin, and Rasmus was responsive and helpful. Although there is no running water, there was enough water available for our needs. We even borrowed bikes to cycle to a nearby hiking nature area, which was the cherry on top. A great stay near the city!

A wood-burning stove stands in the corner, crafted from metal with a glass door for visibility of the flames. A woven basket filled with firewood is placed beside it, accompanied by a potted plant on the floor, adding a touch of nature to the space.
