Waterfront vacation rentals in Kalundborg

We were very warmly welcomed and were shown the beautiful surroundings on a small tour of the grounds by Tina. The accommodation is very comfortable and lovingly equipped and offers plenty of space. The apartment is flooded with light through large glass windows and glass doors. There is a cozy seating area outside right in front of the living-dining area with a large table to eat there. We enjoyed the tranquility and the enchanting polyphonic bird concert very much. Tina and her husband are very friendly and helpful. In the morning, Tina hung delicious croissants on the door. We felt wonderfully spoiled all around! This place offers a great starting point for excursions into nature in the immediate vicinity, but also for activities in Roskilde and Copenhagen. This is a lovely waterfront getaway, with lots to do nearby whether rain or shine. Brian is super responsive.

We were in the apartment for 4 days. It is a nice apartment and was clean and nice. It's right by the harbor in a nice place. Next time we're in Skælskør, we'll rent the apartment again.

Great place in beautiful surroundings - although it looks very nice in the pictures, in reality it is much better. I heartily recommend the place. Also contact with the owner - a great person - helpful, interested. I hope I will have the opportunity to come back here again.

Super nice apartment in a top location! Everything is within walking distance, you have a mega beautiful view. The apartment is very clean and well maintained, we felt very comfortable also due to the nice welcome. The communication with the two was easy, they responded super quickly. We also received local recommendations - what else could you ask for? We definitely want to come again, we can only recommend the apartment!!

One if the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. Marie was the perfect host, and her place was incredibly charming, peaceful, and cozy. The setting was beautiful, and we felt like we had our own little world to ourselves. But if we wanted to get out and explore, the guide book was full of great recommendations. We would love to stay again and recommend it highly to anyone.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kirsten's! The place was just as charming as described – quietly located, with direct access to the lake and perfectly equipped for our fishing trip. Particularly nice was the possibility to go on the water by canoe and rowboat directly from your own property. Kirsten is an exceptionally warm and helpful host. She provided us with all the important information in advance, was always available and took care of everything with so much attention to detail – from boat licenses to maps. Just great! The house was cozy, clean and had everything we needed – including a well-equipped kitchen, freezer and grill. And little extras like firewood were also available. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime! Thank you for everything, dear Kirsten! 🙏🏼

Super friendly and accommodating host! Huge peaceful place with beautiful facilities and plenty of space. Perfect if you want to go to the countryside.

We had two nights in the cottage and enjoyed it to the fullest! The house itself is really nice and it is on top of a small hill, so the view of the water and nature is extra nice. We enjoyed the short walk down to the water, we went to Lynæs and experienced the beautiful landscape on the way and fished on the pier and ate ice cream in Lynæs Harbor. It was really cozy and a really nice harbor. We were also in Hundested and at the “Sandfestival” and eating ice cream at the “Issalonen” - both can definitely be recommended. Thank you very much for lending us your lovely cottage. We'd love to come back another time.

A small great house without internet, the location very quiet in a bay. You have to want the tranquility.

Can't beat the location if you are looking for a beautiful environment near the sea. Lovely home to relax and enjoy the scenery. Ingrid and her husband were responsive to our needs.

The house was perfect! A feeling of privacy and tranquility in a pleasant and special area. You can walk down to the beach, or drive to the nearby town to eat, drink, and hang out. The house was perfect! More than we expected. The sofa and the hot tub were perfect.

My best friends and I had a wonderful stay at Trine’s Strandhuset. It was one of the most beautiful vacations we’ve ever had. The house has a soul – it fills you with so much energy and peace. The endless view of the sea and horizon, the sunrise you could watch from bed, and the sound of the waves – it all felt like something out of a romantic movie. We felt like we were in a small, magical world of our own. It could’ve been the Hamptons or the English coast – there was this beautiful sense of being completely in the moment. The interior and comfort of the house only added to the experience. It’s filled with so much love and attention to detail, and you can feel that Trine and her family spend their summers here, giving the house its heart and soul. We’ll definitely be coming back. It’s a magical place I will never forget. Thank you, Trine, for letting us step into this little world of yours.

We loved our stay at Adam’s place. We had everything we needed. The location was amazing and Adam was a very responsive host.

We simply had a wonderful time with Susanne and her husband Ole. They are the perfect, warm hosts and make the whole family feel comfortable. The location of the house is in nature, a huge garden with herbs, flowers and fruit trees around the house. The swallows rush through the air, and the deer or rabbits jump by every now and then in the garden. Everything very close to the sea, in less than 10 minutes you will be on the beach, which makes you want to unpack the painting relay, it is so beautiful! We didn't want to leave! Thank you for everything.

A beautiful and cozy accommodation in the attic. Great view and quiet location, uncomplicated hosts. We would come back anytime.

We had a wonderful stay at Samsø ved Ballen. Beautiful location, home super good for us, 3 couples and fantastic beach. We bathed every morning 🥶 June 11-13, but a wonderful experience. Close to both north and south island. Highly recommended from here. Ebba Frank – Fredericia
