“The Perfect Retreat” was literally perfect! From the gift basket to the various amenities provided, Clare’s place exceeded our expectations greatly. Our stay was peaceful and so relaxing. The house is similar to a little cabin and felt very homey. Definitely recommend!

This place was great! Exactly how it was described, it’s also very clean and well organized. Only complaint, I wish you all had patio furniture and more cleaning products to help keep the space clean during the stay. Other than the two minor things this place is located in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood.

This was our second time staying at the Black Dog Lodge. We stay here while driving cross country and it’s a great place to stop after a long day on the road. It’s very well taken care of, on a very quiet street, and with no detail overlooked. We seem to always manage to leave something behind when we stay here but Gary is extremely kind and our son’s favorite stuffed animal is in the mail to us as we speak. Thanks again! We hope to be back the next time we’re in Joplin!

Hobo Hideaway B was perfect! Check in was easy. Justin responsive and helpful. The place was clean, nicely decorated with fun decor, and comfy. Great location, walking distance to the Neosho square. Fun place to stay!

She was so kind and responsive! Kim was so kind and accommodating. Smelled like cigarettes because people like to smoke outside and she offered to come and help spray to help with the smell. Merre is very friendly, we had a mishap the day of check-in but it was all fixed the very next day!!! We arrived to fresh bread and eggs!! The place is just as described, it’s very quiet and peaceful. There is a pond on the property that can be walked to. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

Kristi’s place was gorgeous and just what we needed on our family road trip. The space was clean and there were snacks and bottled water left for us, which our teens promptly gobbled up. We took some of Kristi’s guidebook advice and ate at a couple of the restaurants, which were delicious. It was a great stay and we’d stay again if we travel through the area.
