Close to Högbo Bruk with mountain bike trails, canoe trails, paddle tennis, cross-country trails and large forests. 28km to Kungsberget's ski resort for slalom & cross country skiing, hiking, bear safari. Gävle town and Furuviks park. Motorboat available to hire.

Here you will find tranquility, just a stone's throw from Kungsberget ski resort with close proximity to forest and lake. The cottage of 36 m2 offers an open floor plan with kitchen (not oven) and living areas where a sofa and daybed are available as well as a sleeping loft with double bed. A small cottage with a double bed is available in summer. The lake is outside the door but is better for a boat ride than swimming. Close to Sandviken, Högbo, Gävle and Ockelbo. Outhouse, hot outdoor shower, no water retracted, drinking water on can. Digital TV.

Two balconies with double seating areas, both upstairs and with lake view. (New outdoor space July 2023) There are several ski tracks, ice skating lakes nearby if weather allows. Kungsberget and Högbo ski resorts, only 35min away (34km) 12km to central Ockebo with shops, restaurants, cafe and beautiful Wij gardens.

The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Rowing boat/eka is available to use and a private parking is available right next to the house. Running water is not available. We fill up water before check-in and it can be picked up smoothly at nearby water source. The toilet is equipped with a new incineration toilet.

Spacious residential area in the charming little village Jädraås, about 10 km from Kungsberget. The house is located close to the lake, close to the guest area, close to the old mill and railway museum. Many nice fishing waters nearby, berries and mushrooms in the forest. It is also possible to rent a kayak or bike. Next door to the residence there is a sourdough bakery that is open during July and August.

What a peaceful gem! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind—breathtaking surroundings, the perfect sauna to melt away stress, and everything we needed right at our fingertips. The house was not only charming but incredibly well equipped—we felt instantly at home. Big thanks to our hosts for the warm welcome and the lift to a local restaurant so we were able to have some drinks. That was really appreciated. We leave refreshed and happy, with great memories!
